We installed a vertical condenser unit, so the price of the hardware was more than a standard unit. However, the price I got from them was $1K-$2K less than others.“

“I requested a replacement for my Sub Zero refrigerator door the my tenant left some serious dents due to moving. The service technician came promptly once the new door arrived and completed the installation. However, he did not haul away the old door and instead left it in front of the house. This was very inconvenient because I am traveling, and I need to make separate arrangements, at additional cost, to have the door removed.

If haul away service was not included, they should have informed me beforehand. That way, I could have planned accordingly, either by hiring someone else for the full job or by arranging to deduct the removal cost from my tenant’s deposit. Since they are specialists in appliance repair, I think it is reasonable to expected them to handle or at least clearly communicate what would happen with the old part. Their failure to do so left me stranded with an extra burden and expense that could have been avoided with better communication.

UPDATES: I would like to acknowledge Dave for his professionalism and support. he kindly came by to help me remove smudges on the new stainless steel door cause by the factory plastic coverings. And he also assisted me with most of the cost from hauling away the old doors. I truly appreciate his sense of responsibility and his effort to make things right. It is clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction.“

“My Oreck upright hadn't had a tune up in about 7 years. It was working well but it was hard to push, even through low pile carpeting. I looked on Yelp and saw that Whittier Small Appliance and Vacuum Repair also repairs lamps so I could get two repairs done at the same location. The technician that helped me was very friendly and gave me a quote for the lamp repair and he said that he would call me with a quote for the vacuum tune up after an inspection. I got a call with a very fair price quote for the vacuum a couple of hours later. By the next day both items were done and ready for pick up. The lamp works again and the vacuum glides more easily over carpet. I highly recommend this business for appliance and vacuum repair. Their prices are reasonable and the work is done quickly. Very friendly service.“

“Adam and his team are awesome! We own a business and have a very old walk-in cooler. The compressor and condenser finally gave out and the box itself needed a lot of repair. Another company we had been using dragged their feet on getting us solutions and a quote for the work. As a business that depends on the operation of this cooler to function, it was unacceptable. That’s how we found Air Max and Adam was super fast and responsive and helped us come up with a solution to quickly repair the box and install the new equipment. “Every time we have requested service, it has been prompt and on time. We have been using them for 10+ years on all our appliances. Washer, Dryer, replacing the motor on our dishwasher. Vladim as diagnosed that our Microwave needed a new control panel, and it was cheaper to just buy a new Microwave. Our repairman, Vladim, not only fixes appliance problems, but he thinks outside the box. He created a fix for an issue I have had with my Kitchen-Aide Ice Maker since I bought it in 2013. He fixed it yesterday, and now I know why my ice production has been so poor. Kudos to him. I would only trust my appliances to West Coast Appliance Repair.“
