612 E Glenoaks Blvd, Glendale“Lifestyles for Health Physical Therapy - Cindy's clinic, gave me the comfort and mobility that I was very fearful of not having after a trip and fall injury to my arm. My therapist, Shiva, made the entire process so much more comforting and welcoming. She made sure that in all aspects of recovery, I was secured. Each exercise was explained, and most importantly, she made sure to ask how I felt before and after the treatments. You would never leave your appointment without feeling better.“

185 E Glenarm St #107, Pasadena“Carina created a wonderful place to get strong and meet strong women! I signed up at the end of 2021, because of the small group training option. It’s affordable, and you can workout while maintaining a safe distance from others. Carina keeps the facility clean and sanitary. There are plenty of options in terms of equipment to cater to your training needs. Carina will adjust your workout based on your preferences, abilities, and injuries. I noticed a significant difference in my strength, endurance, and overall health. Carina and the (predominantly) women here are friendly, caring, and supportive. This is a great place to go whether you’re a strong athlete or just starting your fitness journey.“

117 N Ave 59, Los Angeles“This week marks one year of Pilates for me. I originally chose this studio since it's on the same block as my daughters' dance studio. "Pilates," I thought, "that's what middle aged moms do, right?" Well, not exactly as it turns out. But luckily I started at a studio that's welcoming, friendly, and incredibly supportive of all abilities. All of the instructors I've had have been awesome, but special shoutout to Megan, who has the most wonderful positive energy. I feel stronger than I have in years and always leave class feeling great. THANK YOU to everyone at Made by Pilates!!“

“I highly recommend Pilates Pasadena. I came in seek of pain relief after a bad car accident. Severe pain in my back running down my leg. I thank Kathy , today I have no pain after some fascia sessions. She also works on pets. Parking available on the street.“
“My smart and knowledgable friend told me that "Sylviane is the best trainer I've ever worked with in my life." That ringing endorsement is what led me to sign up with a one-on-one program with her. I have to say, I pick good friends. He is right.Other trainers I've worked with seem to still be working out their masculinity issues or think that an Army-inspired barking & shaming actually is motivating. Can't we do better? With Sylviane you get none of that. What do you get then?Somewhere in the rarely traveled space between Bruce Lee and Mary Poppins is Sylviane. You get a person who is an absolute master at her craft, and a mature human being who is totally comfortable with herself. She is a world champion (literally, not metaphorically) athlete, as well as a martial arts practitioner, and a truly excellent teacher. It's a rare person who can combine technical expertise with a skillful ability to instruct others. She is patient, funny, charming and a sincere pleasure to work with. You get someone with years of experience who brings a keen perception and sophisticated approach to her client's needs. Not only do I see my posture, muscular development and overall body strength steadily improving, we do it at pace that is sustainable and enjoyable.“

She knows how to motivate her students to work out with focus and precision. I have become stronger and have healed minor strains and injuries under Grete's expert instruction. True Pilates Pasadena also maintains their Gratz apparatus in impeccable condition, and it makes a difference to work out on such well-maintained equipment.“

22 S Oakland Ave, Pasadena“I've pretty much shopped all around town and the San Gabriel Valley and have concluded that if you want to learn the classical Pilates method this is best studio hands down. Lara has been my private instructor for some time and is very well versed in how the body moves, she's able to activate muscles other instructors weren't able to. Her keen eye and detailed feedback fosters precision in correct movement. Tom's group classes have also been very effective in helping me get better at Pilates. Tom is a great group instructor, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I think he offers privates too.“

“So let's start off by saying I have taken two classes so far and I'm hooked. I was hooked after the first one and was told about a Groupon deal and jumped right on it.“
“I just had my first reiki session with Kim and I loved it!! I could immediately feel the energy shift in the room, as she started her work. She said she could feel a lot of energy on my right side near my pelvis. What Kim didn't know is that I had been having a lot of back pain in that area that very morning. After my session with her, all of the pain was gone. I also had an opportunity to do tarot with Kim and it was such a great experience. I feel like I'm going into the new year with much needed guidance!“

3600 N Verdugo Rd #106, Glendale“I've been doing Pilates for about 3 years now and of all the studios I've tried Motivate is the best out there. I take Sarah B's class every Saturday. She is THE GREATEST and the reason I have a membership now. I look forward to her class every week and I never leave disappointed. From her routines, to her cues, the way she describes movements for new people, her music choice, and her mood, everything is perfect. Take a class you won't regret it!!!!“

“I've been to many different physical therapists in my lifetime, but no one has ever been as good as John M. at Tyler. Hands down, he is absolutely the best -- his vast knowledge, ability to explain things and therapeutic approaches are second to none. He's intuitive, energetic and very personable. I've been going to John at Tyler for PT on my shoulder and my hip, and I'm seeing excellent results. I've also worked with Austin, the occupational therapist at Tyler, who has been very helpful and a pleasure to work with. One thing I really appreciate about Tyler PT is that they schedule you in for an entire hour with your therapist. Most of the other PT places I've been too shuttle you from one person to another, there's a lack of continuity and I think that negatively affects the quality of care. Not so at Tyler -- their one-on-one approach creates focused and intensive PT sessions that I find immensely helpful. The front office person is also quite helpful and very competent. I highly recommend Tyler PT, and especially John M.“

20 N Baldwin Ave, Sierra Madre“I just completed my third private training session with Gabby and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I've been sitting on the sofa for far too long and it's time to get active again. Gabby has a background in nursing and physical therapy and knows exactly how to lead me through an hour-long session that leaves me feeling energized, not sore and damaged. She will continue to help me with one-on-one, assisted-stretching sessions while I enjoy Pilates, core fitness, and yoga classes to build my strength and improve my flexibility. Sierra Fitness has that charming Sierra Madre vibe and I'm looking forward to more gym time. Now that I'm back to my college weight, Sierra Fitness will help me recover a sculpted midsection and perky bum!“
“Wonderful trainers, wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. I have noticed improvements both physically and mentally. My body feels lighter, taller and stronger. I am so happy I decided to try Pilates. I love it.All the trainers, Ronie, Katina, Alexandra and Ricardo are amazing.“
“This review is long overdue. I've been seeing Stephanie for years. Yes, she's the best pilates teacher, but I feel that designation still doesn't describe all of what she brings. Stephanie has helped me really come home to my own body in both awareness and movement. She's truly taught me how to "use the whole system" through her playful, creative, and dynamic approach. On top of her pilates expertise, her experience and intuition about each person's unique body is a true gift. Also, she hosts AWESOME workshops with really special guests at her studio. Thank you, Stephanie!“
