Mauro is the best plumber I have worked with - honest, excellent quality, prompt, and thorough!

Services included:
- new water heater
- adding water line into garage
- sump pump clogged
- sump pump not working

The last time he helped me out: he saved me $1600!

My tenants called a plumber who said it would cost $800-$1600 -- $800 for labor and $800 to replace the sump pump motor potentially.

I immediately called Mauro who came within 2 hours of my calling. He fixed the issue (small electrical cable was moved) and didn't charge me at all! (I offered to pay for his time at the very least -- he said no need!).

SO, if you want a plumber who 1) is technically excellent; and 2) is honest; and 3) charges fair prices, CALL MAURO's PLUMBING!

One more thing: Amy, his scheduling staff, is also very prompt and responsive to boot.

“I was first acquainted with Ehret Co. when reviewing estimates for our daughter’s condo - which needed sewer lateral work. Ehret came in with the lowest bid and did the job well and efficiently and I was impressed with the workers. Ehret is a family business located in East Oakland. I recommended them to several friends who needed home plumbing repairs; they have come out to me for estimates on a drainage issue - turned out they couldn’t do what was needed as the camera was too large for the drain and I was not charged for the time plus many suggestions. Recently they did two repairs on two different toilets, same problem both times! Ehret also came out to a friend’s house for an emergency plumbing problem. The plumber was pleasant, efficient and the job was priced fairly and appointments were available quickly. Highly recommend this business for any plumbing issue.“

“I noticed I had raw sewage coming out into the backyard at around midnight and contacted The Plumbing Two because they were one of the few plumbing services I found that operated 24 hours a day. Rick arrived and cleared out the blockage but informed me that I had a larger issue than just the initial blockage. The sewage pipe was offset which required them to dig down 5 feet and perform a spot repair on the pipe. They found roots growing inside pipe as well and were very transparent about the whole process. All of this was accomplished in less than 24 hours and I’m very satisfied with their service and knowledge. I’ll be contacting them again on any of my future plumbing needs!“

“I've used PHP for a couple years now to service an existing boiler that was having issues. That boiler recently came to the end of its life, and I had PHP come out to replace it. They did a great job, initially responding to a Saturday call on the same day. I've been working with Tim who is nice, professional, communicates well, and does a great job. “Placed a call on Tuesday and got a tech out Wednesday morning. He examined my leaking faucet, offered me a few options that he carried in the truck, and then got to work. He did a great job of marking off the sink and ensuring alignment of the new faucet. Installed the feed lines and everything was completed in about an hour.
He was very pressional and friendly, wore booties inside the house and cleaned up at the end of the work.

“Nelson from Atlas Plumbing and Rooter was able to successfully snake and unclog our kitchen sink after another plumber couldn’t unclog it using 3 different sized snakes. Nelson then replaced 1-1/2 inches of the sink pipe that was broken and leaking after the other plumber had taken it off to snake the kitchen sink pipe. He was honest and upfront about our options and was willing to work with us to try out the cheaper option first, and wouldn’t charge us if we needed to switch to the more expensive option, whereas another plumber we called wanted to do the most expensive option first without trying the cheaper option (this option was also less damaging to our house, which is why we wanted to do it first). Nelson deserves more than 5 stars for his expertise and willingness to do a great job! We’ll definitely request Nelson for our future plumbing and rooter work.“

(Called them to track down the source of a leak in my upstairs shower) The leak diagnostic was expensive but ended up saving thousands since it revealed the pipes and valves were not leaking. Turns out my leak is likely related to grout damage from recent earthquakes.

If you want an honest plumbing company, who shows up on time, explains options to repair your problems, and cleans up after the do work. This is the company for you.“
