I got to know this gym by searching online when I decided to start exercising regularly to overcome the slight depression I had been suffering from since I moved to Canada. I didn’t know anyone at this gym, so I booked a consulting session and decided to enroll in their program simply because I needed the opportunity to exercise, and the location was convenient for me—not far from work or home and with enough parking spots—that was enough for me. At that moment, I didn’t expect to fall in love with this gym and its people at all. From the perspective of an introverted person, I thought CrossFit was for extroverts (my friends were also worried when they heard I had enrolled in CrossFit?). But everyone, including the coaches and members, is super friendly and nice to each other. It has been quite a positive stimulation in my daily life. In addition to my health and mental improvement, I am happy to belong to this community. If someone is like me—a beginner, introvert, or someone who struggles to be consistent—I highly recommend checking out this gym!
Sam and his skilled team (Sebastian, Steven) were very good, trustworthy, and easy to communicate on any issues repairing my back yard rotting deck and sagging gates, plus worked hard during high heat days. We were very pleased with our recent kitchen, hallway to include bathroom floor renovation completed by United Floors (Sidney). It's not easy making a product decision and they were most helpful. Installation workmanship totally professional and the personnel are people that you could look forward to having back. Challenges were dealt with leaving us very comfortable. Awesome! Bob quickly understood the challenge and gave me some insights into carpet care, cleaning, deodorizing, stain removal and drying processes. A great experience! I had a very specific tire in mind and they happily ordered it for me. Both front of house people I spoke with were very helpful, friendly and respectful. I am a femme presenting person and these situations tend to give me alot of anxiety but not here. It was very pleasant. They went the extra mile by noticing and fixing some broken lug nuts I had within the allotted time. I went for a walk by the water and it was all done well within the time frame they told me. All I can say is WOW!! I have gone to multiple salons in the Vancouver area and in Victoria and this has been the best mani/pedi I’ve ever had. I’m super picky that after a mani I always end up having to clean up my cuticles myself because they don’t fully remove it. Ola is spectacular. So gentle and precise. She is much better than any of the technicians I thought were good over the years. The girl that did my pedicure (unfortunately didn’t get her name but she had orange hair) was fantastic too. As long as I live in Victoria I will be coming to this place. I could tell everyone here knows their stuff.

I've been attending this clinic from north cowichan for the last 4 years and never have I had any problems with the front end staff regarding the treatment I was sent here for. If your practioner referred you to them, then they must consider them a worthy clinic. Would they not need to ask questions on your condition to properly treat you? It's not so much about compassion, it's about making sure you are properly treated. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.
A few years ago, I bought a large live edge board that I use for serving charcuterie or desserts at gatherings. It's absolutely amazing and every time I use it, I get compliments on it. I needed two good quality cutting boards for the kitchen. They just arrived from West Wind and I'm thrilled. Beautiful wood, competitive price, they answered my questions quickly and I know that I will enjoy using them for years to come.

We had a wonderful first experience at this clinic. All of the staff were super informative and helpful with my kiddos eye exams and glasses. I truly enjoyed the experience. The doctor was also super patient with them and made sure to get an accurate prescription for them.

My procedure was relatively pain-free with a short recovery time and zero complications. I particularly liked how office staff and Dr Follows eased my anxiety prior to and during the operation with their calm nature and humour. While the vasectomy is unfortunately no longer covered by MSP, I feel the cost is reasonable given his 30+ years of experience.
This is the 3rd time I've visited Sidney Island Haircutting and left absolutely pleased with the end result. The second appointment with Chanya involved haircut and highlights. Chanya wanted colour accuracy and so she thoughtfully checked with her supervisor, Brenda Lee. The end result was everything privately hoped for plus more!
A few months later Chanya remembered the original colour dye and time involved despite unavailable documentation. The end result was better (if that is even possible) with colour and texture throughout.
