This is the 3rd time I've visited Sidney Island Haircutting and left absolutely pleased with the end result. The second appointment with Chanya involved haircut and highlights. Chanya wanted colour accuracy and so she thoughtfully checked with her supervisor, Brenda Lee. The end result was everything privately hoped for plus more!
A few months later Chanya remembered the original colour dye and time involved despite unavailable documentation. The end result was better (if that is even possible) with colour and texture throughout. Brenda Lee is most definitely the best hairdresser I’ve had in 20 years in Canada and the first to use a razor - something I’ve asked for at every hairdressers but been denied! I’m 68 but don’t want to conform to the mold of the typical 65+ year old. I like to be stuck in the big hair feathered locks of the 90’s and Brenda makes sure it looks good.
She does exactly what I ask for, no more and no less. I never have to go home stick my head under the tap and snip which is what I usually have to do to get “my look”
She’s also a gifted colourist. So many people comment on my hair since I’ve been using her.

Brenda Lee is a phenomenal teacher! Jas was doing my hair as a student and Brenda was next to her teaching and they both did an AMAZING job. I came all the way from Nanaimo and I’ll definitely come back in the future because the service and the prices are absolutely amazing!Service: Hair coloring
