I have two (several years) older Scotty Downriggers where the brake plates failed on one of them. I contacted customer support and John immediately mailed me replacement parts no questions asked. This company, on top of being Canadian, is the cream of the crop as far as I'm concerned. Outstanding products and support. 5/5.

Scotty makes great products and has some of the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I dealt with a really friendly guy named Gary who helped me get a conversion kit for my clamp on downrigger, so I could make it a post mount. Super happy! Will continue to outfit all my boats with scotty products.

This is simply the very bust customer service and product commitment I have ever seen. I took old manual downrigger a with missing parts to them, they serviced them for free, replaced all worn and missing components for free and I now have like-new down-riggers.
