We recently hired Matt and his team from White Knight Contracting to handle the spray foam insulation for our basement renovation project, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, punctual, and detail oriented.

They definitely weren’t the cheapest quote we received but came highly recommend by one of our neighbours that had used there services in the past. After seeing the quality of their work and how diligent they were with every aspect of the job right down to the way they cleaned the basement and left it spotless for the next part of our reno we knew we had made the right decision.

They made sure all of the new spray foam insulation was applied evenly and consistently and also took the time to ensure the depth and thickness of all of the new spray foam was correct. I could tell that Matt and his guys really care about doing things properly and take a lot of pride in what they do.

What impressed us most was how easy and smooth the entire process was. We were a bit nervous about the entire process of having the basement insulated with spray foam insulation due to some of the issues we had read about online.

Matt assured as there would be minimal issues if any at all and he didn’t disappoint.

The job was started and completed the same day just like Matt told us it would be and as soon as the spray foam work was finished we were able to move onto the next phase of the reno without having to worry about any insulation related issues.

Our basement was left spotless and they did an excellent job prepping everything so there wasn’t any overspray, mess or other miscellaneous spray foam debris floating around.

They were very thorough with all of the work they completed and treated our home with the utmost respect.

“Highlander was introduced to me by recommendation of a neighbour on my street who had their roof done a couple years prior. What I liked was that they arrived with a adequate crew , and proceeded to systematically attack the project from the top down, stripping and installing the new materials efficiently. They completed the entire project in 2 days ( I have witnessed other firms in my area taking up to a week because of minimal manpower on the project). The fast completion was nice in that it didn't hamper me or my family's lifestyle, so was only a brief inconvenience. Also, for the old roofing materials/refuse, I noticed on other projects that companies have bins dropped on the driveway. I am cautious about that, as it could damage/gouge the driveway when these large bins are dropped off directly on the concrete ( I have an exposed aggregate driveway, and that is a concern for me). Highlander uses a 3rd party associate who backed up a trailer ( 3 rubber tires on each side of the trailer), to handle the refuse, at which point was promptly removed at the completion of the project on day 2. No damage or issues with the driveway. I monitored the project , and these guys know what they are doing, from the strip down, to applying new synthetic underlay, ice/water damn along edges and metal roof edge. In today's market place one is always leery about contractors/etc and what type of workmanship you will get. I am pleased with their work on my project.“
