I bought glasses from Chinook Optical after suffering from different problems over the years. I did not know what to expect when I walked in but the lady who helped me first answered any questions that I had with politeness and kindness.

After finding a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses, Jennifer, the optician, took my measurements with great care and quickness while still being personable, kind and extremely knowledgeable with any questions that I had.

A few weeks after picking up the glasses, I needed adjustments on both of them. Jennifer and the other lady made some quick adjustments on one pair each and I was in and out within 5 minutes.

These glasses have helped me academically and professionally. I know now how the right pair of glasses can elevate one's performance.

The care that I received from start to finish was astonishing and it truly shows their level of commitment to serving the customer.

“I have been seeing Dr Norris for many years. The staff are always really warm and knowledgeable. Dr Norris himself takes this time to explain everything to you and has a friendly way about him. The appointments are not rushed, I think they schedule them a bit longer so you can actually talk about any issues you are having. Dr Norris also goes over all the results of the tests with you, even if nothing is wrong. This is not a place where you just get your prescription updated in the mall. This is an actual optometrist office where they check your eye health. They have really up-to-date equipment and the office is was recently renovated and looks great.

The only issue I have is not anything with the clinic, it’s more the location as I do not work downtown anymore. The best way to get around having to go actually into the core is to park in the Parkade on 10th Ave (lot 25) behind the Gulf Canada building. The parkade has never been full when I have gone, it’s huge. All you have to do is park and go up to the 4th floor by stairs or elevator and take a very short +15 to get to their office. You also can avoid all the downtown traffic this way. Honestly, it’s worth the effort to get to this clinic.“
