They did beautiful pasture fencing for us plus a perimeter fence to keep our dogs in.They cleared many blackberries and scotch broom bushed and then took them off our property.They were always on time and just did amazing craftsmanship with incredible attention to detail! They were able to clean up my driveway that had seen much better days, figuring out a draining problem for me and clean out some curtain drains.Lastly, my boys were sad about us moving to Vashon and Jake and his crew were able to put in an amazing pump track for my boys! They are so excited about their new house now and that’s a big thanks to Jake and his crew.I would recommend them to anyone, they are fantastic and they worked with me on my budget!“

“Having worked with J & M Remodel previously, we knew that they are professional/ honest, reliable and excellent craftsmen over a variety of skills and trades. This current project covered demolition, new construction and installation of a new, contemporary living room media and fireplace wall with custom cabinetry, floating shelves and hardwood flooring. We also had new drywall, painting, wall tile , lighting and cabinets installed in a laundry room and shop/craft room. An old wrought iron handrail and carpeted stairs were also removed to allow for new hardwood stairs & a new custom contemporary handrail. Over the course of the project, all of the work stayed on schedule and there was excellent communication. The main crew (Justin, Mandy, Norma, Christian) worked well together and were focused on providing the very best outcome to meet our expectations. “We had a very good experience with Better Builders on a full basement remodel including the addition of a new bathroom with shower. They were very open, honest, and personable from the start. They were very helpful in challenging our choices and decisions on our project - ultimately making the outcome even better and more to our liking. We had a very basic basement with 70s style paneled walls, concrete floor, and open ceiling. We used Better Builders to add a wine closet, nice family room, a workout room, a pantry, utility room, and a new bathroom. They worked well with our designer to get to our plans finalized including a spec sheet. They were outstanding at managing their subcontractors, permits, inspections, and general contracting work. Their communication throughout the whole process was excellent - their use of recurring weekly updates was very beneficial. The final product is outstanding and quality is exceptional. “I've known Alex, the owner of Pro Build Construction, for almost a year now, and he has already worked on three of my gyms. Alex is super reliable and always available for a call. He takes personal pride in each project and ensures they stick to the timeline.

One of the major renovations we did was at one of my 7500 sqft gyms, involving flooring, paint, lights, etc. Alex said we would only need to close the business for one week, and he stuck to the timeline. He had workers on-site day and night to ensure the project was completed within the agreed week, allowing us to open the doors to our members as promised.

Update 12/31/25: following a major project at the KOMO Plaza (June 2025- demo and full buildout of a gym), Alex and his team has been on top of closing the loops on smaller tasks. They're easily reachable for any repairs or maintenance issues. Alex goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are fully taken care of.“

“I don't know how I did but I am so happy to have found NOR Design &Co. I was having a difficult time finding any provider that was open to installing a pull down attic ladder in my home. Even companies that only provide this service ghosted me when I was waiting for them to come and give an estimate. Brian looked at my situation, discussed it with his team, and did not see an issue. They provided a straight forward proposal with a competitive estimate and worked with me to get the special materials I wanted. Brian was very communicative, keeping me looped in on where things were in the process.

When it came time to complete the work Peter and DeJen, were very professional. They were on time and kept the site clean and orderly. When doing the work, you could tell they were taking the extra steps that show they cared about what they were doing. Peter also communicated with me the entire time about what was going on.

When the work was completed, the best compliment probably came from my wife who was originally concerned about adding the ladder to the ceiling, she said she did not even notice it and that it looked like it had been there for years.

Brian followed up with me with the final invoice, which was adjusted for the actual time and materials used. The project came in significantly under the original proposal. It was refreshing not to have to challenge a contractor over the final cost of a project. Thinking about it, working with NOR never felt like I was working with a contractor, but more like a team of professionals that was helping me with a problem.“
