Today, Michael, the technician, visited to repair my heating system and promptly inspected the furnace to verify the issue. Upon discovering the furnace was functioning properly, he checked all electrical connections. Next, he examined the heat pump and thoroughly inspected the air conditioner, identifying a faulty breaker in the air conditioning unit that required replacement. I was charged for the diagnostic work, the replacement breaker unit, labor, and tax, totaling approximately $600. I understand that diagnostic work typically costs around $225, with the remaining amount attributed to parts, labor, and tax. Michael also offered a maintenance service to future-proof my heating system, but respectfully accepted my decision to decline.
