“I was having bad experiences with the normal doctor/insurance system so tried DPC. It has been the best thing I’ve ever done for my healthcare. Specifically, after being a member for a few months I got a severe respiratory illness that required multiple trips to the doctor with multiple medications over a month. I’ve never felt better cared for as a patient, with my doctor being completely accessible and actually invested in my getting better instead of rushing out the door. We communicated almost every day in their chat portal and just in office visits alone I saved money despite the monthly fee. No messing with insurance. No messing with snotty schedulers from god knows where. Local care from someone who knew me and I had continuity with through my illness. The experience was A+ (except for being dreadfully sick) and this model feels like healthcare used to be before insurance ruined everything. I have built up an HSA balance to take care of the things not in plan and it is truly ideal. Jamie cares about me!!“
