He took the time to explain the problems and each of his solutions, and talked through short-term and longer term solutions in this climate. Through some mismanagement on my part, I failed to see a few issues on the other side of our fence that still needed attention, and Wilson came back out a few months later to address the issues promptly- which was a lot to ask of him and he did a very thorough job.“

“A long-time, trusted friend referred me to Bastaldi when we needed our roof replaced. She was familiar with their work, having had her own roof replaced the prior winter, and was very confident in their skills. After meeting Jorge for our bid, we were fully on board. The initial process was quick and smooth: we had a bid within one business day and the guys scheduled to start within a few days.We had a team of three guys come to replace our roof (full tear off and install) and they were all very polite and kind. Abraham, the lead, took his time to let us know their plan and how they would work. He even supplied photos as the work progressed to show us where the areas of damage were. His teammates, Nolvin and Sergio, were adept and skilled and within a day, the three guys had our old roof completely torn off and tar paper laid to protect the plywood from the overnight elements.The entire process only took three days where other, similar houses in the neighborhood took 4-5 days with different companies but larger crews! Abraham kept us updated on their progress at the end of each day. He even took a series of photos to show us their final work, which is impeccable, they even cleaned the gutters! The lines are straight, the flashing tight, the valleys feathered nicely, they even added a piece of shingle to protect any fascia boards that protrude past the roofline. The guys were meticulous in their cleanup and I have yet to find an errant nail or piece of roof debris (I’m writing this about 3 weeks later)!We have all new boots and vents, they inspected the attic for any evidence of moisture and for proper ventilation, we have ice and water shields all around, and best of all, the team is Certainteed-certified so we can sleep at night knowing our roof is protected by the manufacturer for many, many years to come.Hire Bastaldi. “Cannot recommend Expression Stone Construction enough. This was my first big remodel in my first house, and my budget was tight. Other quotes I received were almost $10-15K over my budget. Expression Stone was very affordable for the high-quality of work and worked with me closely for things I could do before the crew came in to help bring down that cost. Sabrina was absolutely amazing, answering my many, many questions and working around my work schedule to meet. Everyone was so responsive which is something that is hard to come by these days. As in every remodel, a few hiccups and unexpected things came up but all of the add ons were extremely affordable. I am so happy and in love with my kitchen, cannot recommend them enough. “I initially called Anthony when I was looking for someone to look at my jetted tub. I had called about a dozen plumbers. None of them worked on jetted tubs but Anthony was the only one who stayed on the phone and tried to help. When I had a leaking pipe in my tight crawl space and an issue with the water heater I called him. These items were on my list of a contingent inspection response from a potential buyer so there were some nerves being in the middle of a contract. Anthony was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and an excellent communicator. Not only that but he went above and beyond. He identified that the inspection report on the water tank was incorrect. I had gotten other bids from reputable plumbers and none of them mentioned what Anthony did. Any plumber would have known what he pointed out but he actually took the time to explain and didn't turn it into an opportunity to fix something that didn't need to be fixed according to the inspection response. Also he was willing to put in writing what he said to me on the estimate so I could send it to the potential buyer. As a result, the water heater issue was dropped from the list and money saved. I also found his estimate very fair for his skill level and reputation. If I lived in Tacoma he would 100% be my regular plumber.“

“I had my kitchen remodeled last year by Jeff and Galvin, owners of Hill Custom Homes (an extension of Home Studio). Jeff and Galvin before starting the project came out to my home to get a look and feel of my kitchen. They took extensive measurements of my kitchen and asked me lots of questions in terms of what I really wanted my kitchen to become. They looked at all the ways they could maximize my space to give me additional storage, counter top space, and aesthetics, as well as incorporating additional features, such as a beverage fridge, pantry, lighting and a coffee bar. He drew up some ideas on site and was able to give me an estimate that was actually within my budget. He also provided a timeline. He promised that he could deliver on this project within a six week window, which was after Thanksgiving and before Christmas of 2024. My first was reaction was unbelief but I found Jeff and Galvin to be authentic and sincere. Jeff and Galvin understood that the Christmas holiday was most important to me and they assured me that they could make the deadline.
Jeff provided me with the project scope and timeline. At every phase of the project his crew stayed on track. Galvin, as the project manger kept me updated on every phase of progress. I was overwhelmed with gratitude.
The Hill Custom Home crew were professional, respectful, and diligent in delivering. Jeff and Galvin were extremely responsive to me throughout the project. As a perfectionist and control freak they never wavered on making sure that all my questions were answered.
The outcome of the project was magnificence. They completed the project on time and within budget. Jeff and Galvin had found a way to make an outdated kitchen come to life with functionality and beauty. Everything I asked for and more, they delivered on. They did a detailed inspection after the work to make sure that everything was functioning and in order. The work crew were phenomenal in providing stellar workmanship.
I now have a gourmet kitchen, complete in providing for my needs: for storing, cooking, hosting, and entertaining. I'm forever grateful for their expertise, kindness, and honesty.
