Shanti Living Wellness Yoga

“Restorative yoga is healing for your spirit, mind and body. Shanti Living Wellness center in Poulsbo, Washington encompasses this concept. Kym is a master class teacher and very knowledgeable in all things Ayurvedic. Deep breathing exercises are practiced. Long holding poses exemplify the need for muscle release. You will finish the yoga session feeling renewed and relaxed as well as looking forward to your next class. The sound bowls, gong and wind chimes vibrations clear the energy of your body. Your chakras will thank you. And lastly, she uses tuning forks placed by the ears to tune out negative energy and thoughts from your mind. Yoga mats are provided as well as props such as blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets. I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10.“

“I love this gym so much it's hard to put into words. Of all the places I ever worked out, Barre3 Edmonds has the best instruction, the best workouts, the best people, and a fantastic facility. Also extra shoutout to Shannon in Play Lounge, who is so incredible with my kids that they look forward to accompanying me to my workouts.“

“It’s easy to see why April’s classes at Twist Yoga fill so quickly. I truly appreciate the studio’s commitment to limiting class sizes—so even when a class is “full,” there’s still plenty of room to move, breathe, and settle into the practice.
April’s teaching style is truly unique. Her cues are clear, concise, and incredibly effective, and it’s remarkable how even the smallest adjustment can completely transform a pose.
She creates a deeply nurturing and sacred space, blending intuitive guidance with a compassionate presence and a touch of lighthearted humor…sometimes more than a touch!🤣 As the practice unfolds, her soothing voice and incorporation of sound healing gently draw you inward, often opening the door to meaningful emotional release and inner healing.
April teaches with such ease and authenticity, and her playful energy makes every class feel special. I always leave feeling grounded, restored, and grateful—I genuinely love being in her classes.“

“I can't say enough great things about Scott. He's incredibly intuitive and talented at what he does.
I've dealt with some serious issues since childhood - I accidentally ingested paint thinner as a kid, and it affected my muscles and fascia for most of my life. I'm talking 60+ years of tightness and limited mobility.
Scott has genuinely helped me heal in ways I didn't think were possible. He's been able to break down the fascia and help my muscles move again. After all these years, I'm finally feeling like my body is actually healing from that early trauma.
This has been life-changing for me, and I give Scott a lot of credit for helping me get moving again.“

“Using a secret name as I am still working thru personal things but first off Elliot is literally the best ever! So kind, a sweet and always willing to answer questions. Nate has been my primary and he's fantastic and amazing as is Benji who I have got to to work with as well! Highly recommend this amazing group! Even the owner spoken with me to reassure me he's got my back working on the authorization. It's a place where I go and feel. So welcome and relaxed!!“

“I've been getting semi-regular massages from Zee for a couple years now. They are incredibly kind, professional, and effective. I'm prone to my neck freezing up painfully, and each time Zee has been able to restore range of motion. I'm impressed with how gentle their technique is, as well as effective.“

“This is a wonderful place to practice when you're on the island. Variety of class offerings and such a great welcoming community. I did one yin class and went back next day for the warm Hatha. I love the way they've done the heating elements (warmth was even throughout the practice but not stifling) and the flooring is very comfortable. Clean and minimalist studio has a great vibe. They have extra mats if you're visiting. Instructors make use of the props and led well-thought out classes.“

“This studio has so many offerings and was recommended by another mom friend to check out. So glad she led me to discovering Amanda as she's been an incredible fit for continuing my practice. I've especially loved Amanda's Sunday Vinyasa class. Music and rhythm gets me lost in the flow. Her themes and class focus just adds so much to the practice. Highly recommend Amanda. She's a newer instructor and needs to get added to their instructor page.“

Pilates Edmonds Yoga

“I have been seeing Cheree at Pilates Edmonds for over 12 years. When my wife first suggested I try pilates I thought it was going to be easy and a waste of time. I was wrong. Some workouts are very difficult-especially when learning how to do the exercises properly and isolating the muscles we are targeting. I wish I had training like this when I first started in sports as a young kid. I have finally learned a lot of proper techniques for stretching, building core strength (yeah, we think we have it as young athletes but do not) and most importantly for me dealing with injuries and their aftermath. Both sports and my career have lead to injuries resulting in developing ways to compensate and work around these injuries. Cheree has taught me ways to overcome these injuries both old and new. She helps me to not only continue in the sports I love but to regain some of the strength and abilities I thought I had aged out of. I view my time with Cheree as not only some of the best strength training I have ever had but also some of the best physical therapy. Without Cheree I would not be able to enjoy life and sports the way I do today.“
