6040 California Ave SW, Seattle“Agility with Jordan has been So great for our high energy teenager. They make everything really positive and doable, building up skills and coming in with help and ideas if Stewie gets distracted (or if I get confused haha). I always learn something about Stewie's body language or mine, as well. Highly recommend!“

3006 S Brandon St, Seattle“I’m a long time dog owner and have had dogs with various temperaments. I’ve taken a lot of classes over the years from puppy classes, to reactive dog classes at Ahimsa in Ballard, to one-off courses like leash walking skills.
I adopted a 9 month old dog last year and was confident that I had enough experience that I could fill any gaps with a Google search and be fine.
5 months into ownership and I can’t get this dog trained to do anything (we’ve barely mastered sits, and no other basic commands). It’s taken almost that entire time to get her accustomed to wearing a collar and leash. When we see other dogs on our walk — dogs that may be blocks away — she’s so ecstatic at the sight and commences to hoot and holler, and acting a fool while pulling desperately on the leash.
The dog isn’t food motivated. There is no value of treat high enough to get her attention while we’re out in the world.
During this time she escapes from the front door at least twice and it feels a tiny miracle that I manage to get her back inside and I’m really starting to doubt if I have any business owning this dog.
I’m becoming resigned to the fact that I have a dog that maybe I’m never going to successfully be able to take out on walks and adventures. That I may struggle with teaching this dog to master even the basis.
Cue Sensitive Dog and Julie.
?Julie is AMAZING. ?During the first session, I described what was going on, what my concerns were, what my goals were. At the top of each session we revisited these objectives. I hate using the word holistic but during the weeks of training we’re doing what most people expect from training, but we’re also doing enrichment exercises, talking about dog health, talking about dog nutrition, talking about equipment (e.g. leash types, collars, toys), talking about how I’m verbally or physically communicating mixed or unintended messages, etc. Any question or behavior I could come up with and she’d help me navigate.
She’s also available to support during “business hours” throughout the training so no need to wait a week frustrated because something doesn’t seem to be working, your dog is behaving in a new way, etc. — you take a video and send it over. I also ended up with a great stack of materials to have on hand at home.
The shortest way to describe the experience is that Julie taught my dog and I how to communicate, how to listen to each other, and how to have a successful conversation.
I’m not exaggerating in saying that our lives dramatically improved in just the first few weeks. I left the experience feeling that I had really meaningful tools and had learned new skills that overall made me a much better dog owner.“

When I rescued/ adopted a Cane Corso.(mutt puppy) I knew I had to do right by her and myself. I needed proper guidance with her breed. I gained confidence in handling her. I also had my Staffy in training here too. The biggest compliment anyone can say about your dogs is: wow they are so well trained! Yes they are. I worked very hard at it and thanks to NW dog training. I can brag that I have a 2 beautifully well trained dogs.“

2751 4th Ave S, Seattle“Ava is wonderful! Listens and takes great care of my sweet baby. At another location (also owned by SCC, I believe; that I was sent to when someone quit after I booked at SoDo) they cut her whiskers and didn’t listen or give the same attention to detail that she does. Thank you Ava!“

Keely was amazing to work with and Prius loves her. She learned Sit, stay, lay down, shake, and some loose leash walking. Also basics of leave it or drop it, and mat training. Highly recommend!“

1106 SW 120th St, Seattle“My fiancé and I had Cierra as the trainer for our 9-month-old Cane Corso, and we decided to go with the 2-week board and train program. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Cierra communicated clearly about everything she planned to work on and made sure to focus on the unwanted behaviors we had mentioned beforehand.
She also sent us pictures and videos every day, which made it so special to watch our dog’s progress while he was away. Seeing the improvement day by day was incredible. By the end of the program, we were truly amazed at how much he had improved. We are so grateful to have had Cierra as our trainer and would highly recommend her!“

Twice a week, our pup Fable gets to go on adventures and play with other dogs on epic romps through the woods, at the lake, or in the park. Fable always comes back with a wagging tail and a big goofy smile on her face. We love Gloria and are so grateful for her services!“

4819 49th Ave SW, Seattle“We were so fortunate to find Suzanne (Pampered Parrot). We had had a bad experience boarding our little guy Kiki (cockatiel) and were concerned about leaving him. She set us at ease immediately. She is a gentle, loving human being. Kiki took to her immediately. She kept us apprised of his stay with pictures and updates which we appreciated so much. I am preparing her organic rice pilaf for him and he loves the toys she recommended. She truly knows and loves birds. We plan to leave Kiki with Suzanne again when we travel next year. I give her the highest recommendation.“

17585 Southcenter Pkwy, Tukwila“I highly recommend the Tukwila Petsmart pets hotel! Our babies absolutely love staying there and the staff love them! The staff, including Krystal is very kind and friendly to them. They take good care of them. One of our babies takes medication for some medical issues and the staff administers it properly. We have been using this pets hotel for boarding since 2021.
The check in process can be a bit hectic sometimes but they do take good care of them. They have been many times, and we never have had issues. They always get their baths at the end and they love getting their baths at the salon and then coming home. If you leave your babies here, you can trust that they will be well taken care of, and that’s coming from picky pet parents. :)“

The instructors, online and in person, have years of knowledge they pass on through each course. Although I am new to the massage field, I have confidence and mentorship because of this school. Every resource you can imagine is available to you. I will be continuing in my studies here. Thank you NWSAM team!“

We realized she needed some help as did we. We loved how the owner took time evaluating her issues and got acquainted with her. From the drop off we received reports and were kept up with her training and progress. At trainings end Jessica worked with us explaining how to contine. It was a great experience overall we are very happy. Thank you MTI and Jessica!“

4332 11th Ave S, Seattle“I cannot recommend Veda enough — In my 4 years working together, I have felt so much trust and comfort knowing that Veda is taking the best care of my dog, who always comes home from adventures and boarding feeling tired and happy. Veda is also highly communicative and professional. Her experience facilitating a safe environment for her dog pack speaks for itself. If and when I need long-term boarding in the future, I would absolutely drive 12 hours to Seattle just for Veda!“

2408 SW Brandon St, Seattle“Wesley and the PSP team are an absolute treasure. Our dogs, Nugget and Pippa, are skeptical to say the least when they meet new people. Wesley and Jaime had to take it real slow, which they did with much patience. Wesley has a calmness about him that invites doggy bonding, which really helped to build trust. Now Nugget and Pippa greet him with an enthusiasm we don't even see when returning from long trips. And the walk 'reports' Wesley writes are amazing + hilarious - I find myself reading them over and over again. Your and your dog's lives will be better with Wesley and PSP in it.“

“I couldn't be happier with the care my golden retriever received this past week at All Barks of Life Hotel. The staff gave me complete peace of mind while I was on vacation, and my dog came home happy and healthy. I'll definitely be using them again in the future.“
