I came to her for help because he has stranger-danger and would growl at any new people coming into my house or approaching him out in public. After a few sessions with Julie, I have a much better sense of what is going on inside his brain and how I can help him to feel safe rather than feeling the need to be in guard dog mode. This last month I had friends staying at my house two different weekends- lots of new people for Brix! Applying my learnings from my sessions with Julie, not only did Brixen refrain from growling at them, he also started snuggling with them on the second day and even rolled on his back, asking for belly rubs! This makes for a better experience for everyone, including Brixen who now gets to receive love from a lot more people! I highly recommend Sensitive Dog for anyone who wants a better understanding of their dog and is willing to consistently do the work to help get their pup to a better place.“

“I absolutely love Ahimsa and the training they provide.

My puppy went to Puppy elementary, kindergarten, and puppy and teen playtimes. Though there were a few skills that were repeated, it was more building on the skill (like with distractions).

Amber was wonderful and explained the skills, modeled them, and gave tips if there were struggles. Of course if one doesn't practice outside of class, they won't see as much progress especially with a skill the puppy struggles with (mine needed extra help to focus on me when distractions were present). We've continued to practice and my pup has grown so much.

The puppy playtimes were also incredibly helpful as they help d me learn what appropriate play was, how to correctly pup if he was engaging in an inappropriate behavior, and learn my pup's cues for needing a break or space during play. Absolutely helpful and I wouldn't have known this had I chosen to social at a dog park without folks with expertise.

Next we want to try a Nose works class for our pup. He gets so excited going to Ahimsa!“

I am preparing her organic rice pilaf for him and he loves the toys she recommended. She truly knows and loves birds. We plan to leave Kiki with Suzanne again when we travel next year. “BEST KITTY BOARDING IN SEATTLE! I have a 1yr old cat who I recently adopted a few months ago and was looking for place who could keep him off of very short notice. This was also my first experience with any pet boarding and I’m so thankful to have found All My Kitties first. They were quick to respond, very helpful and informative before hand which I appreciated as I didn’t really know what to expect. They answered all of my questions and were super friendly. Our entire experience from drop off to pick up and the online blog photos of my cat through our his stay made me feel confident he was taken such good care of. The boarding space was also very beautiful and clean and my cat seemed to love it and also had a lot of fun playing with the other cats. The photo updates are fantastic, especially when you are away from home. It’s such a comfort seeing happy, well-cared for pups during their walks. I also really appreciate the email notifications when each walk starts and ends.

“I took my large dog for the 2.5 years I lived in Seattle. I loved it because he loved it. Drew and the previous manager are absolutely wonderful. When I showed up to pick him up, he was usually asleep in one of the corners or cots.

Our favorite things about DDO were that there was a cap to the number of dogs per day (meaning the person there had control of the place and could tell if something was off with the dogs), that they could come in and out (for my dog this was extra special because he is a live stock guardian breed and likes to lay and observe), and that the backyard had wood chips (the dogs didn’t get muddy and they didn’t have to be on concrete or turf that usually made my dog smell extra icky). For all of those reasons I drove 40 minutes each way to keep him there after we moved from a closer area.

Now we’ve moved away from Seattle but my dog and I REALLY MISS DDO and his dog besties.

“We've only brought our dog here a couple of times so far, and in that short about of time we have been blown away by the daycare services! Our border collie mix usually mellows out after a few hours of activity, but he's always tired when we pick him up, which is quite a feat. The staff is incredibly kind, and always let us know that they love our dog. This kind of feedback grants me a lot of peace, as other daycares have just thrown him in a pen with other dogs all day, while here employees actually interact with the dogs. “Wesley and the PSP team are an absolute treasure. Our dogs, Nugget and Pippa, are skeptical to say the least when they meet new people. Wesley and Jaime had to take it real slow, which they did with much patience. Wesley has a calmness about him that invites doggy bonding, which really helped to build trust. Now Nugget and Pippa greet him with an enthusiasm we don't even see when returning from long trips. And the walk 'reports' Wesley writes are amazing + hilarious - I find myself reading them over and over again. Your and your dog's lives will be better with Wesley and PSP in it.“
