“Agility with Jordan has been So great for our high energy teenager. They make everything really positive and doable, building up skills and coming in with help and ideas if Stewie gets distracted (or if I get confused haha). I always learn something about Stewie's body language or mine, as well. Highly recommend!“

Sensitive Dog Pet Boarding Training

“I’m a long time dog owner and have had dogs with various temperaments. I’ve taken a lot of classes over the years from puppy classes, to reactive dog classes at Ahimsa in Ballard, to one-off courses like leash walking skills.

I adopted a 9 month old dog last year and was confident that I had enough experience that I could fill any gaps with a Google search and be fine.

5 months into ownership and I can’t get this dog trained to do anything (we’ve barely mastered sits, and no other basic commands). It’s taken almost that entire time to get her accustomed to wearing a collar and leash. When we see other dogs on our walk — dogs that may be blocks away — she’s so ecstatic at the sight and commences to hoot and holler, and acting a fool while pulling desperately on the leash.

The dog isn’t food motivated. There is no value of treat high enough to get her attention while we’re out in the world.

During this time she escapes from the front door at least twice and it feels a tiny miracle that I manage to get her back inside and I’m really starting to doubt if I have any business owning this dog.

I’m becoming resigned to the fact that I have a dog that maybe I’m never going to successfully be able to take out on walks and adventures. That I may struggle with teaching this dog to master even the basis.

Cue Sensitive Dog and Julie.

?Julie is AMAZING. ?During the first session, I described what was going on, what my concerns were, what my goals were. At the top of each session we revisited these objectives. I hate using the word holistic but during the weeks of training we’re doing what most people expect from training, but we’re also doing enrichment exercises, talking about dog health, talking about dog nutrition, talking about equipment (e.g. leash types, collars, toys), talking about how I’m verbally or physically communicating mixed or unintended messages, etc. Any question or behavior I could come up with and she’d help me navigate.

She’s also available to support during “business hours” throughout the training so no need to wait a week frustrated because something doesn’t seem to be working, your dog is behaving in a new way, etc. — you take a video and send it over. I also ended up with a great stack of materials to have on hand at home.

The shortest way to describe the experience is that Julie taught my dog and I how to communicate, how to listen to each other, and how to have a successful conversation.
I’m not exaggerating in saying that our lives dramatically improved in just the first few weeks. I left the experience feeling that I had really meaningful tools and had learned new skills that overall made me a much better dog owner.“

“Ava is wonderful! Listens and takes great care of my sweet baby. At another location (also owned by SCC, I believe; that I was sent to when someone quit after I booked at SoDo) they cut her whiskers and didn’t listen or give the same attention to detail that she does. Thank you Ava!“

“My fiancé and I had Cierra as the trainer for our 9-month-old Cane Corso, and we decided to go with the 2-week board and train program. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Cierra communicated clearly about everything she planned to work on and made sure to focus on the unwanted behaviors we had mentioned beforehand.

She also sent us pictures and videos every day, which made it so special to watch our dog’s progress while he was away. Seeing the improvement day by day was incredible. By the end of the program, we were truly amazed at how much he had improved. We are so grateful to have had Cierra as our trainer and would highly recommend her!“

“As a first time pup/dog owner I was so happy my vet recommended Paws4Training. It offered a great start for basic training, socialization and also understanding your dog's behavior. Susan is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable on dogs, their behavior, and how to train effectively. Not to mention my pup loved it and got to play with other puppies and exert all that puppy energy (making for a nice quiet evening afterwards). Definitely recommend Puppy Kindergarten for all new puppy owners.“

“The CGC class at Ahimsa was absolutely fantastic! The curriculum was very systematic and well-organized. I learned a great deal as a handler, and I can clearly see how much my Golden Retriever, Bori, has grown and improved. I especially want to express my huge thanks to instructors Amber and Katie. They were incredibly professional, kind, and supportive throughout the entire course. Highly recommended!“

We were nervous going in because he had been asked to leave both my SIL’s and my friend’s houses for not getting along with their cats, but he made so many friends and adjusted very easily at CSH! Special shoutout to Omar and Morgan for always being a delight to talk to when I was there visiting him!“

“Debbie is the best! She takes amazing care of our dog. She provides such a loving and safe atmosphere for all the dogs. We do not worry about our dog at all when he is with Debbie. She has a very fun instagram account so you can see your pup on a regular basis when you are out of town. It’s an understatement to say that I highly recommend her.“

“We were so fortunate to find Suzanne (Pampered Parrot). We had had a bad experience boarding our little guy Kiki (cockatiel) and were concerned about leaving him. She set us at ease immediately. She is a gentle, loving human being. Kiki took to her immediately. She kept us apprised of his stay with pictures and updates which we appreciated so much. I am preparing her organic rice pilaf for him and he loves the toys she recommended. She truly knows and loves birds. We plan to leave Kiki with Suzanne again when we travel next year. I give her the highest recommendation.“

All My Kitties Catboarding Pet Boarding Training

“BEST KITTY BOARDING IN SEATTLE! I have a 1yr old cat who I recently adopted a few months ago and was looking for place who could keep him off of very short notice. This was also my first experience with any pet boarding and I’m so thankful to have found All My Kitties first. They were quick to respond, very helpful and informative before hand which I appreciated as I didn’t really know what to expect. They answered all of my questions and were super friendly. Our entire experience from drop off to pick up and the online blog photos of my cat through our his stay made me feel confident he was taken such good care of. The boarding space was also very beautiful and clean and my cat seemed to love it and also had a lot of fun playing with the other cats. I’ll absolutely be returning and will refer anyone to All My Kitties.“

Walk With Tanya Pet Boarding Training

“We absolutely love this dog walking service! The dog walkers are genuinely caring, reliable, and clearly love what they do. My dogs get so excited every time they see their walker; it says everything about the bond they have built.

The photo updates are fantastic, especially when you are away from home. It’s such a comfort seeing happy, well-cared for pups during their walks. I also really appreciate the email notifications when each walk starts and ends.

The app is very easy to use, scheduling is straightforward, and billing is simple and hassle-free. We keep a pretty regular weekly schedule, and it is always easy to make changes when something comes up.

We have been using Walk With Tanya for 9 months now and we highly recommend this service to anyone in Seattle looking for dependable, thoughtful, and truly excellent dog care!“

Dog's Day Out Pet Boarding Training

“I took my large dog for the 2.5 years I lived in Seattle. I loved it because he loved it. Drew and the previous manager are absolutely wonderful. When I showed up to pick him up, he was usually asleep in one of the corners or cots.

Our favorite things about DDO were that there was a cap to the number of dogs per day (meaning the person there had control of the place and could tell if something was off with the dogs), that they could come in and out (for my dog this was extra special because he is a live stock guardian breed and likes to lay and observe), and that the backyard had wood chips (the dogs didn’t get muddy and they didn’t have to be on concrete or turf that usually made my dog smell extra icky). For all of those reasons I drove 40 minutes each way to keep him there after we moved from a closer area.

Now we’ve moved away from Seattle but my dog and I REALLY MISS DDO and his dog besties.

We hope y’all take a chance on taking your pups there. This place is magical!“

“We've only brought our dog here a couple of times so far, and in that short about of time we have been blown away by the daycare services! Our border collie mix usually mellows out after a few hours of activity, but he's always tired when we pick him up, which is quite a feat. The staff is incredibly kind, and always let us know that they love our dog. This kind of feedback grants me a lot of peace, as other daycares have just thrown him in a pen with other dogs all day, while here employees actually interact with the dogs. Thanks for being so awesome!“

“I cannot recommend Veda enough — In my 4 years working together, I have felt so much trust and comfort knowing that Veda is taking the best care of my dog, who always comes home from adventures and boarding feeling tired and happy. Veda is also highly communicative and professional. Her experience facilitating a safe environment for her dog pack speaks for itself. If and when I need long-term boarding in the future, I would absolutely drive 12 hours to Seattle just for Veda!“

Puget Sound Puppers LLC Pet Boarding Training

“Wesley and the PSP team are an absolute treasure. Our dogs, Nugget and Pippa, are skeptical to say the least when they meet new people. Wesley and Jaime had to take it real slow, which they did with much patience. Wesley has a calmness about him that invites doggy bonding, which really helped to build trust. Now Nugget and Pippa greet him with an enthusiasm we don't even see when returning from long trips. And the walk 'reports' Wesley writes are amazing + hilarious - I find myself reading them over and over again. Your and your dog's lives will be better with Wesley and PSP in it.“
