“This past winter we noticed our hardwood floors seemed to be getting loose from the sub flooring. We also noticed a small hairline crack above a window. We figured it had to be something going on with our foundation and that we needed a professional opinion. We contacted 3 companies and scheduled appointments to have the issue inspected as well as to get quotes to have it remedied. The first company was a no show after they asked me to remove all the plywood underpinning. The second wasn't thorough at all and seemed to be mostly interested in a recommendation for where to go for lunch. The third company I contacted was Virginian Foundation Solutions, they were very professional from start to finish. Brandon Beck, who did the original analysis, thoroughly explained what was going on with our foundation and what needed to be done to remedy the issues. The Blue Crew was assigned to do the work. They were great at explaining what they would be doing and how long they expected it to take. Nolan Raunswinter, the field supervisor on the job, kept me up-to-date on the progress of the job and answered all my questions. I highly recommend that if you have any foundation issues, you contact Virginia Foundation Solutions. You won't be disappointed.“

“I could not be happier with Senate Pest Control. A raccoon broke into my attic and took up residence. He was an aggressive little beast. Senate was able to capture him and release him miles away, so he wouldn't find his way back. Then they tore out all of his damage (which was extensive), sanitized the attic, and sprayed in tons of new insulation. They sealed where the very stinky raccoon gained access, and upgraded it so he can't break back in. They even fixed a chronic leak that roofers couldn't find, after I casually mentioned it. Everyone was incredibly nice, very professional, and a good worker. It did cost a lot, but it was well worth it. I can't say enough good things about Senate.“

UPDATE: Billy found the babies in 5 minutes and got them out of the house so quick and without any mess! his team will come back next week to clean and sanitize the attic. We thought this would take so much longer and be more of a mess, but Epix did things in the best manner possible.

Billy has been wonderful to work with and knows raccoon removal like the back of his hand. He has been prompt, communicative, has kept us calm. it is a process to get rid of a family of raccoons in an attic and We are in middle of the process. He drives 2 hours each way each day to help us and has caught the two adults humanely. we couldn't be more thankful and will update when babies are gone and attic is cleaned! in the meantime don't hesitate to call Billy if you have wildlife removal needs.“

“I usually wait until after services are rendered to leave a review, but really need to get share how unexpectedly great things went with the first contact!

I just called to schedule an estimate for carpenter bees. We’re looking to switch pest control companies next month and figure this is a good time to trial. To my utter dismay, I got an automated system, instead of a real person. I know I’m not the only one who eye-rolls with the anticipated frustration of struggling through automated systems… I need to speak to a real person and get all the info! Needless to say, I was hesitant to use the automated system that answered, but it was, surprisingly, very helpful and convenient! We need to get this system over to other businesses and make my life THIS easy all the time! In that 3 minute call; I confirmed they do treat for Carpenter bees, I have all their pricing information (very competitive) AND I’m scheduled for the next business day for a free estimate! I would’ve also been able to schedule my first treatment! ? I can rarely get accurate information from an actual person at Back Bay, who tells me I should invest in citronella candles and torches while I’m on their most expensive pest and mosquito contract!

I am really looking forward to how things go with Precision, as I have high hopes on everything else being this seamless and productive!

“I always appreciate when Shawn comes to do a quarterly service. Not only does he do a thorough job but he always shares some new knowledge that helps us be better homeowners. He listens to what our concerns are and doesn't cut corners.

Back Bay also put in the barrier in our crawl space and we have been told by multiple people who have gone under the house that they did a good job with that. It's always nice to have a third party validate the work of somebody that you trusted and hired.

Back Bay also installed the covers for all of our vents and crawl spaces. They did good work and cleaned up after everything. We were disappointed to find that one of the crawl space doors had fallen loose and was open without us knowing it for a couple of weeks. They sent someone out pretty quickly to look at the situation and we were told they were having some trouble with those doors and they would fix it and put pins/screws in it so it would not fall open again.

We appreciated how quickly they got it fixed; we just wished that since they knew there was a problem with those doors not fitting tightly that they would have contacted us (since they had just installed them for us) to come and add in the screws without waiting for us to have a problem. Honestly I feel like that would have been the best plan of action from the beginning as a backup anyway to make sure that the doors were always secure). Having it fall open without us knowing caused us to get bugs and a rodent under our house when our crawl space was open. They came back to handle those issues as well- just would have been nice not to have to deal with that at all. *That's the only reason we didn't give five stars.

Overall we have been very happy with Back Bay and as of now would recommend them to friends and family.“
