I had an appointment with the salon owner, Mitzie, for a haircut. I was nervous but excited because I hadn't had a professional cut in decades. We spoke briefly about what kind of cut I was interested in and how long I wanted my hair to be. She was very kind, and her conversation put me at ease. The wash before the cut was both invigorating and relaxing. The shop itself is pleasant and conveniently located in Poquoson. Highly recommend.
My fourth try in town for a quality haircut and I finally found it! I don't judge my haircuts on how they look when I walk out of the salon, but whether or not I can make it look nice on my own, on my schedule. Owner and stylist Mitzi grasped what I wanted and knew how to cut my wavy hair for a wash and wear cut. She has high standards, a great work ethic, and I will be returning to her shop. Make an appointment, though : the door says walk-ins welcome, but she's currently running the shop by herself.
Mitzi did a wonderful job correcting a terrible cut from another stylist. She was able to work a miracle with blending the previous cut and now I can go in public with confidence! Very thankful that I trusted Mitzi with my hair. She’s great!
