I accidentally damaged the control lines to my AC unit and called the company who installed it for the repair. About $1,900 later ( replaced wires and did some unit cleaning), the AC would not come on. Keep in mind, the unit worked perfectly before I damaged the wires. I was told I needed a new zoning control board to fix the AC, another $4,200.

Thank goodness I called Mares for a 2nd opinion. They came the next day and quickly discovered the first company had forgotten to reinstall the outside temp sensor. I had two gas packs replaced at the same time and I usually do my own home repairs so I do have trust issues with letting somebody else work on my house. Brian came out to give me estimate and he was very knowlegeable and he did not try to up sell me. I had three other estimates and they were in the middle for price. I chose them even if the were not the lowest because I felt after taking to Brian that I knew was going to get a quailty job and equipment. he had also install a unit for my daughter and done a fantastic job.they took two days ,they were right on time and the work speaks for them .
