Cody and his team did an outstanding job restoring my house after a tree fell on it. They were total professionals from start to finish. My wife and I were scared to death, as we had never had anything like this happen to us. Cody put us at ease and his team went to work and replaced the entire roof and ceilings inside. Cathy did such a good job on my eyebrows! I was so nervous about them being too dark, too bulky, etc. but I absolutely love the shape and color. She was extremely thorough about everything she was doing and went through each step of the process! I recommend 12/10 if you want amazing brows let Cathy do them!!!
I’ve had my hair done by several people at Mojo. Sometimes it was because someone was sick and one of the other girls were filling in on their schedule or just because I needed something done asap so I branched out to someone new. The last time I booked an appt all 3 of the girls that I’ve loved being in their chair were available so I had to make a tough decision on which one I wanted to see ? I love love love Ariel, Cat, and of course the owner Nicole. Plus of course Cooper gives the best head massages!! No place has the same vibe as Mojo ?

Taylor has been my stylist since 2020, all through my curly hair journey. Although she is not a curly hair specialist, she supported me as I figured out what does and does not work for me and tolerates my frequent experimentation. We work so hard to grow it out, then I say chop it off! We find the perfect purple that doesn't turn red on me, and I say maybe I want to go back natural...bless her.

I walked in to get my beard cleaned up, I was greeted by the guy in the second chair on the right and promptly taken care of. Clean professional and no BS. Tipped the young man 100% because of how nicely he cleaned my beard up. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice clean cut.

I came in and had a bad experience. I have been here many times and had amazing experiences. I had wrote a bad review due to that experience but the manager reached out to me and made everything alright! She was sincere and listened to me about what had happened and what went wrong. I really appreciate this and she did not have to make it right but she did and that is something to respect! I will continue to come here and stick with the employees I am used to.

When our daughter was two, my husband would bring her to get her toes polished often. Fast forward 13 years; we have moved back to the area and needed a place to get pedicures. Our now 15 year old daughter and I went together and we will not go anywhere else. They remembered her from when she was little. I guess not many toddlers get their nails done. Haha
They are as clean as they were when they first opened almost 17 years ago. The attention to detail was so nice. It was actually a pampering. I have been to places where your feet are throbbing when you leave.

I had one hour deep tissue today with Ashley. I probably was the best massage of my life. Great pressure, worked my tough, stressed shoulders… really pulled all the tension out of me. This is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.

This is not referencing carpet cleaning, but dryer vent cleaning.
Andy was right on time, explained the procedure in detail and got right to work. I was in a meeting elsewhere, but my wife was very impressed that he took the time clean between the dryer and washer and removed what looked to be a lint and dirt factory. Too, the 'clean vent' light on the dryer no longer pops on.
Regarding carpet cleaning, that is on our 'to-do' list and we'll call Heaven's Best of Central Virginia for that task a bit down the road.

From the moment I contacted Collins to inquire about replacing our windows, their attention to customer service, integrity and knowledge set them apart. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my inital appointment a couple of times, and they were very understanding. Frank came for the initial appointment and was well-versed in explaining the product choices and removal/installation process. I asked Frank many questions and he was very polite, responsive and patient in answering all of my questions, and/or researching to find answers to my questions.
The window installation took place in February. I had concerns about this process in the winter. TC and his crew arrived on the job and quickly had the old windows out and new windows installed. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and trim work were superior. They removed an old sagging bay window, jacked up the frame and had to do additional carpentry work even as snow was falling down.
The new windows are so easy to clean, our electric bill is lower, the house is so much more quiet, and the pesty little ants that invaded the kitchen every summer never made their way inside this summer.
In March TC and Sam came back and removed the original front porch and replaced it with a new porch, steps and rails. It is a work of art. They repaired damage on a stair that I caused with the mower before they had even completed the job. We can now enjoy the porch and no longer have to deal with annually sanding, replacing pickets and repainting/staining the porch.

Green Akers Pest Control is the best. I noticed evidence of German roaches and called Green Akers as I had used them in the past and was very pleased. Initially reached out to Brett after a leak in our basement (had read good reviews about his drainage work) and he was able to come out the very next day and come up with a plan and quote. Fixed all of our issues in a timely manner. Several months later we also had him do some design and landscaping for us and we had the same great experience with him and his team. The final product greatly exceeded our expectations and made a huge difference in the appearance of our house. His team leave the worksite each day cleaner than when they arrive! Reece and his crew are INCREDIBLE, truly incredible! We will never use another arborist as long as we live in Lynchburg (Reece, you're never allowed to retire, haha). They took down a monster of a tree with several branches over our house...and left it unscathed! Such remarkable skill and acumen! Not only did they do the tree cutting with care, they left our yard looking squeeky clean and the wood in a beautifully organized pile. I'd leave 10 stars if I could! Thanks again!

When I walked into the office, I was a nervous room, Saying I’m nervous as all get out from having to go and see a dentist. I was met by a very sweet, pleasant lady who turns out to be my dental hygienist Mrs. Zendell. I had to do all the paperwork then Mrs. Zendell came and got me and we went into her office area where she does the teeth cleaning. She saw I was so nervous. And she took her time which helped me to calm down. She cleaned my teeth and talked to me during the process which eased my fears, greatly the whole office, including the dentist. Was extremely pleasant And kind that my guard came down the girls in the front office was just as pleasant as my dental hygienist and the dentist I would recommend them highly. Thank you for not only cleaning my teeth, but making it a good experience
I never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Dr Draper is so professional and kind. All the staff are friendly and my teeth have never been cleaner! I usually don't like going to the dentist, but my kids and I really like this office!

I have been a patient of Dr Overby for about 2 years. He and his hygientists are very thorough. I had been going to a much larger dental practice that always wanted me to have extra procedures done. Dr Overby and his team do a great job without pushing to have extra tests done that are not needed. Last week I suddenly felt a tooth move while eating breakfast. I called Dr Overby's office immediately. The receptionist took my information and consulted Dr Tim. Even though the office was closing early that day Dr Tim worked me in for a consultation. He took an x-ray and showed me what was causing the problem. He referred me to a periodontist for a tooth extraction, and explained several options to me. The office manager immediately sent my x-ray information to the periodontal office, so they had it when I called for an appointment.
Mrs. Toons was the one who treated me and it was great. She was so sweet and kind. I told her I’m scared of dental appointment and she made sure the entire time I’m comfortable and she explained everything to me very clearly. Front desk staff is real sweet too they are cheerful and friendly unlike other places. It’s a great friendly place.
I had a dental emergency on 1/1/24 but due to the holiday no one was opened. I called O'Donnell Dentistry on Old Forest Rd, at 8am on 1/2/24. Wanda gave me an appt for 10:30am that same day. I was seen by Dr David O'Donnell & Joyce where we discussed my options which put my mind at ease. I had not gotten my dentures at this office but by a well known national dental office that I would never return to. They sent my denture out to be fixed & I received a call from Wanda the very next day along with an 11am appt. The denture was fixed & I was able to leave my house once again lol! The professionalism & kindness I was shown from Dr O'Donnell, Joyce & Wanda was beyond heart warming! And the price ( no dental insurance) was extremely reasonable. Dr. Zakkour and Sarah are amazing. He took the time to come up with a plan that aligned with my preferences. Sarah is meticulous about her work and is very attentive to the patient and their comfort. Dental visits have not always been positive experiences for me in the past, but I have total trust in them. So grateful for their care. I will finally have the smile I want!

Dr. Osbourne is the BEST! She actually cares about you as a person and wants you to feel better. She is so knowledgable and I truly feel SO much better after seeing her just a few times. She is also just so kind and spends adequate time listening to you and where the pain is so she can understand how to help. I will recommend her to everyone in Lynchburg!

I had a great experience but more importantly I got great results. Dr Jaminet took the time to explain to me what was going on with all the neck pain I was having and I was skeptical at first just because I thought I had tried everything including meds and I was about to just give up. All I can say is I am feeling great. Sleeping well again and I have nothing but great things to say.
Dr. Jaminet is the absolute best chiropractor in town! He is very knowledgeable in what he does. He offers a wide range of products including vitamins and orthotics. He does acupuncture, treating Alpha Gal and many other allergies as well. I highly recommend coming to see him!
Dr Holland is absolutely amazing, the staff is very welcoming, they explained how things work, the xrays of my back, and what to do to get it better. Each visit I’ve had a massage and my pain in my back and neck and my headaches have gotten a lot better since I have started. I highly recommend stopping by even for just a moment to see if they can help you just like they are helping me.
I bring my border collie Chloe into Peaks View Animal Hospital every other week for a conditioning session in their underwater treadmill. Chloe loves to come. She is always excited to see everyone, especially Ms Sara who is the vet technician who works with her. It is always a very positive experience...for both Chloe and myself.
Dr. Pearson and Drew deserve a gold medal ?. I am so thankful for their continuity of care and for listening to my concerns. I definitely recommend them for treating dogs with high anxiety who aren’t always on their best behavior at the vet!
Had to give them a call when 2 kittens were showing signs of URI. They got me in, had to wait a bit but that's OK, Dr Dixon looked at them and treated for URI plus gave them meds for worms. Really liked her and the staff were wonderful. I'll definitely go back!!!
We had nothing but great interactions over the three years they served us and took care of our sweet cats. Doctors and office staff alike were extremely kind, and Dr. Jean guided us to make a decision for our youngest cat that ended up saving her from needing a very invasive surgery (and saved us over a grand in the process). It's clear that they put the pets and customers first, so I heartily recommend to anyone in the area.
First of all, they were GREAT with our Scotty pup for her first visit. Extremely patient and responsive to her needs. And second, she came out looking like a million bucks. Totally recommend.
We took our cat Saki to have her nails clipped on Wednesday Jan. 24th. Suzette, the owner performed the clipping. She did a very nice job. The only reason that I gave a four is because the room she cut the nails in was beside what sounded like a herd of dogs and they started barking so loud and it frightened Saki. It actually concerned me hearing the dogs myself. It sounded like there was a huge dog fight. I made a comment about it to the owner and was concerned about the dogs and that cats are not cool with barking dogs, especially as loud as they were. She told us that there is a Forest location that caters to cats and is much quieter and she offers boarding for cats and has a special room just for cats with many things for them to play with and roam around. So that was good news and will plan to go there next time, and the owner said she will let us know when she was at that location in the future.

I've been to this facility a number of times over the past few years... Meditation training with Leo Campbell, a Sound Bath with "Metta Vibrations" and today a Yoga session with Paul Webb. All excellent experiences. It's an older facility that doesn't compare with the newer ones around town. It's a value if you can handle the stairs and squeaky floors.
My wife and I have been taking yoga there for a little more than three years. There are classes scheduled every day for all (different) levels. Great instructors and the students are fun to be around.
I had a truly great experience with Lori during my therapeutic massage. She was kind, gentle, and made me feel completely at ease. I mentioned my shoulder pain, my cervical kyphosis (reverse cervical curve), and sharp pains in my lower back. Lori listened carefully and even did some research to better understand my condition. She focused on all these areas with care and attention.
I started off asking for lighter pressure since I wasn’t sure how it would feel, and when I asked her to increase it slightly, she adjusted it perfectly—it felt just right. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the session and checked in gently without interrupting the relaxing flow. The calm and peaceful atmosphere helped me fully relax.
I really appreciated Lori’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and relaxing therapeutic massage experience.
Imy was awesome! I love deep tissue and I didn't think she would deliver..... boy was I wrong! I had not slept much the night before and was tight all over...... she did an amazing job working out my kinks and tightness...... it was clean, they were nice and didn't talk a lot while working on you! Loved!
My husband took this massage place for me to get a deep tissue massage and it was a very nice experience. I personally LOVED that it was very minimal talking (I really dislike to talk when trying to relax lol). The massage was very professional, great deep tissue massage. I felt healing and care! Definitely recommended and will be coming back here. I have tried about 6 massage places around here and this one is my favorite so far- just great and quiet deep tissue massage

Today I had my first facial ever (also with Sophie) and it was WONDERFUL! I can not recommend her enough she truly is extremely talented and cares so much about perfecting her craft!

Mr. Miller was nice, accommodating, and helpful in explaining things. One thing to note if going as a new patient, your first visit will be billed higher than a regular visit cost. You'll be charged for an initial consultation (which for me was $90 and took about 5-7 minutes) and then for the acupuncture (which for me was $130 and took about 15-20 minutes). In total, my first visit was $220. I was under the impression that it would be $90 or $130, not both, so it came as a surprise to me. I may have just misunderstood though, so wanted to share in case it's unclear to others so you know what to expect on your first visit.
Hi my name is Cathy Ward I had the procedure for Alpha Gal done on 8/4/2025. Deb was a very nice lady an explained everything she was doing thru out the procedure. I was anxious about placing a needle in my ear but I didn’t even feel it when placed. I can’t wait to see the results to get back to a normal life. Thank you very much

Mr. Sale is AMAZING!!!! He keeps you engaged the entire time and even though it’s 8 hours his method of teaching makes it very fun and makes the time fly by.
