The Fredericksburg Petroleum Service location is a fuel depot primarily serving large trucks, but it also offers off-road diesel, regular gas, and high-quality over-the-road diesel. Customers appreciate that this location is generally the least expensive in the area and has fast-fill diesel pumps. While it may look like a private commercial fueling facility from the road, the gas pumps are open to the public, offering regular unleaded fuel at a lower price than nearby big box convenience stores.
Southern States in Fredericksburg, VA is a great company to work with! We have been working with them hand in hand on generator installations & have also have had them help with personal items as well for 25 years now! Gus and Kevin came out for an inspection because my daughter just got a home new to her and no one in the family had experience with propane heat or appliances. They were very conscientious and throughly explained the systems to us along with offering us some very helpful tips along the way. Great experience and their expertise and knowledge was apparent. We feel a lot more comfortable about how everything operates.
This is primarily a fuel depot for large trucks.However they also sell off road diesel, regular gas as well as 50 Cetane rated over the road diesel.They also are generally the least expensive in the area consistently.They take most all types of payments at the pump except cash.The two larger diesel pumps are fast fill pumps which will fill you up pretty quickly.When I am close this is my go to fuel station.Nothing fancy, just good fuel.
