“I brought in a LOT of professional clothes for dry cleaning including a skirt and two dresses I needed altered with a very short timeframe. I didn’t know if it would be able to be done in time before I left the area, but they somehow did it perfectly! The lady who measured the alterations was very kind and gentle and they even had a curtained section for changing. I’m not sure if she was the one who did the alterations, but whoever did, did it exactly how I wanted! It was expensive, but that was expected with the amount of clothes I brought it, the time frame I requested, and the quality I got in return. I had a great experience with Festival Taylor. I had never used a mending or tailoring service before, and the owner was very patient with me in explaining everything. I was able to drop off my shorts and come back a week later to pick them up.

The patches and stiches were well secured and have survived several washes so far. The price was very reasonable as well (~$35-45 iirc), and it allowed me to save my favorite pair of shorts.
Will definitely come back here in the future with further mending needs.“

“Been coming for 6 years. Sarah has been working the Front Desk all that time, and she is the sweetest, nicest lady you will ever meet. The quality of their work is superb. I've had them alter wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and fix blouses with horrible stains, and have even had them add fabric to holes, buttons to clothes and pillowcases, etc. etc. New Town Cleaners appears to be a family business and they're just good people. They are next door to a friendly 7-11 in Occoquan, Virginia on Route 123 or Ox Road, where it changes names to Gordon Blvd. right over the Occoquan Bridge. if you don't live around Occoquan it's also worth the trip just to walk through Occoquan shops, or eat at the "Cock and Bowl" "Secret Garden" "Bottle Stop" or any of the others great places like "Mom's Apple Pie" which is now called "The Golden Plum" and run by 'Mom's' daughter. I can't speak to the prices anymore because I've been using them so long, and It's all I know. But they do a great job, and all the clothes come nicely hung, folded or wrapped on hangers with plastic bags.“

I was in a rush and did not have the time to be pinned, but had brought a sweater that fit me well as a template. The tailor skillfully used this sweater to alter the two that I had brought.
