I have a pair of very comfy Urban Pipeline shorts which are not made anymore, but found recently that the pockets were pulling away from the underlying seat of the pants.

I had a great experience with Festival Taylor. I had never used a mending or tailoring service before, and the owner was very patient with me in explaining everything. I was able to drop off my shorts and come back a week later to pick them up.

The patches and stiches were well secured and have survived several washes so far. The price was very reasonable as well (~$35-45 iirc), and it allowed me to save my favorite pair of shorts.

She's approachable, friendly, and funny, and that's not even describing her job. She takes minimal time to set up the changes, she overrides your desired changes only when necessary and explains to you why, and her prices are reasonable ??
