“I took my wedding dress here for alterations and was very happy with the end result! The dress needed to be hemmed which required removing and reapplying the lace. They also took in the straps and the front, fixed the snap on the back, and added a bustle. Detailed instructions on the bustle were provided and I was able to film her doing it. It was super helpful for my friend to have a video of which loop went on which button in advance so that she was prepared on my wedding day. I took the dress in in January and she explained the timeline and process clearly. The final fitting was in March, a month before my wedding day. The price was very reasonable. Multiple people recommended Swank when I was looking for a tailor and I would recommend them as well!“

“I had less than a month to get my wedding dress altered after a frustrating delay with a DC bridal shop, and Young’s Tailors came to the rescue.

I was looking for a trusted local option in the Vienna area, and Young’s seemed to check off all the boxes based on the reviews. It’s a small, busy shop (lots of prom dress pick-ups at the time I went), so I wasn’t totally sure how they would do with wedding dress alterations. “A friend recommended Noemi because she did such a beautiful job on her daughter’s wedding dress. I had a beautiful large, old quilt that had mistakenly been placed in a washing machine. It was already aging and worn, now it was ripped. Noemi lovingly worked on the quilt for months, doing part by hand, part by machine. I just picked it up and it looks like a work of art.
