“I had some patio roof damage and called Frank Painter. He was very professional and courteous and spent time explaining the situation. He proposed roof repair (including cutting through the membrane and repairing the rotten wood underneath) but also coating the entire surface with ure-a-sil, which is a commerical grade silicone coating for durability. We were considering putting a Trex deck on top anyway, so this worked well. We had an additional complexity of having to float the Trex on the deck and needing to place it in blocks with gaps under for water drainage. Franks quote was reasonable and he was the only guy I felt comfortable with on the job because he seemed to know exactly what to do and was able to give me an exact quote ahead of time. Others wanted to open up my roof and start from there.
