“Hometown Veterinary Clinic provided exceptional care for my cat as she crossed the rainbow bridge. On Friday morning I took my 2 1/2 year old cat, Freya, to this vet and the employees there were immediately gentle and kind, taking their time with getting Freya's vitals since she was super lethargic. When her blood work came back with dire results, they were able to welcome me back a few hours later, this time with my boyfriend since he was off work by then, without an appointment so that we could say our goodbyes to her. Dr. Sarcon took care of Freya for both appointments and I couldn't have asked for anyone better, as she was so understanding with how devastated my boyfriend and I were over losing our cat at such a young age. The vet techs were also amazing, especially the one who was there when we put Freya to sleep. She explained that she was the one to trim a piece of fur as a keepsake and made sure to keep note of which section we wanted trimmed. Although we lost our beloved girl that day, I can't thank Hometown enough for their exceptional care.”

“We’re new clients, but as a cat owner I am already blown away by Harmony Vet’s style. They have a system of operational and environmental adjustments that just make sense and I think would be welcome by fellow cat parents:
• They first have a televisit with you to get to know you and your pet, to know what to expect from your pet’s temperament for the visit, and to cut down on time spent on site in an exam room.
• They have separate entrances for dogs and cats. When you arrive, you call the office before entering to make sure you can easily enter. When you do enter, there is no waiting room time—you just go straight into the exam room.
• Cat exam rooms include space to climbing and toys.
• My kitty doesnt like vets, which I warned our vet about. My cat didn’t leave her carrier when I opened it, so Dr Allison just crouched right on the ground to get close to her rather than immediately having my kitty out of her safe spot.
• During the exam, my cat was distracted with treats and was more comfortable with a heating pad on the table.
• My kitty still isn’t a fan of vets, but she was distracted enough to not be miserable and our easy transition from car to exam room also made a difference, along with the pre-visit telehealth call.
I have been going to a cat-exclusive vet for years but have never before felt so catered to for my cat’s needs. 💜”
