“Our 17 year old son was killed on June 15, 2026 and to say that we are devastated and heartbroken is mild of what we feel. We picked out the Sunset North Funeral Home on 1604 (as it was close to our home) and walked in to our appointment with no idea what we were doing. To say that they walked us through every detail and made sure we weren't rushed is an understatement. Tricia led us through each detail, paused when we were overwhelmed, let us cry it out, and did all of this while making us feel like we were wrapped in loving arms. I can't even begin to express how everyone in the funeral home made us feel like we were family and that we were not alone in this tragedy. The day of his viewing, we walked into the sanctuary and our breath was taken away. I had no idea that such loving details would be carried out for the viewing and the room actually glowed. Our thoughts were, what an amazing send off for our child. Their offering of free counseling is something that we will be partaking of when we are ready. Honestly, I don't think that we could have stumbled upon a better funeral home to care for our son and family through this difficult time. Funerals are quite expensive and eventually everyone must deal with a funeral home. I can't express enough (in my opinion) that a funeral home that fills you with warmth is worth every penny and then some. Please consider Sunset North Funeral Home if you are in need of a funeral home. I promise you, that you won't regret the decision.“

“I am leaving five stars because the end product quality was very good. Now, we did not expect the project to take a year and a half for completion. The initial conversation and signed agreement specifically mentions that it could “possibly” take up to a year. If they would have told us it would take a year and a half, we would have looked elsewhere. Fortunately, we purchased the monument because we are handling all of our final arrangements in advance. It is our understanding that this monument company is now under the ownership of someone other than the Meier Bros. Again, the quality of work was very good. The time to build the monument was completely unacceptable and you need to take that into account before placing an order for a headstone from them.“

“My grandparents’ headstone was missing my grandfather’s inscription and photo. With the help of Jenny with Oz Monuments they engraved his information and added his photo. The photo and inscription turned out beautifully, I am very pleased!“

“I'm not sure who the funeral home used for flowers but we ordered the spray on the left, the cost with delivery was over $200 and the picture on the right is what was sent. Maybe the funeral home should rethink who they are using through their sympathy store. This was embarrassing that this is what was sent to my grieving friend and his family. Just shameful on their end.“
