“My AC unit was not cooling like it used to, due to a leak in the evaporative coils. I called Iceland Mechanical and they were able to replace the part the next day. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future. They conduct themselves in a professional manner and keep the customer informed during the repair.In addition, they price their services fairly and do not overcharge like many other HVAC companies. “Had them come out on Dec 11th for an issue I had with my heater. They came out same day and proceeded to tell me that some insulation had fallen and that was causing my burning smell and my unit to cease working. 5 days later of them coming to check my unit, Saturday morning I noticed again the same burning smell. They are closed Saturday and Sunday so no worries I understand everyone has their schedule. I was pleased that Ian the owner called me promptly this morning at 8:03am to ask what the reason for my missed call was. Ian sent out the team right away to remedy the situation and was willing to work with my warranty that I have on my unit. My unit is fully functional as of now and Ian has provided me with clarity on what was performed and what warranty I have on the recently replaced parts. “I have known these people for maybe 12-14 years and have had them do several projects for me as a general contractor here in the El Paso area. They've installed 2-3 air conditioning/furnace systems, including both normal split and mini-split systems. I've also used them many times for both ductwork and miscellaneous sheet metal fabrication such as custom roof drip edge, custom coping for parapet walls, chimney caps, etc. Their service has always been great and they are kind, honest, and polite people to work with. I have also found their prices to be VERY fair compared to most of the other HVAC contractors in El Paso. On the occasion that things went wrong with either the equipment or installation, they were always prompt to correct the problem, and almost more importantly express apologies for the hassle. I also really like their cool little APP that they use for scheduling appointments and sending you reminders and "thank you's". We highly recommend these folks, and will continue to do business with them in the foreseeable future.“

“My experience with Mechanical Technologies has been great. My initial interaction was with a sales person and he was a really nice guy. The installation of my hvac was done professionally. The sales person also showed up on installation day to make sure everything was going as i expected. The installer was very professional and extremely picky about how things done and how his work looked. Just a high level of pride in his work. The unit works great and they have a maintenance plan that works great for me. Worth getting in my opinion. I ended up getting a tankless water heater from Lowe's a few years later. It so happened that Mechanical Technologies installed it. Unfortunately the installer didn't do a good job and I started having issues and didn't know why. I called MT and they sent out another technician who was awesome. He started by looking at the unit and ended up looking at other things like the house and how and where it vented, etc...long story short, he identified that the unit wasn't venting properly and got the system back on track and my venting issue was corrected immediately without an additional charge. Mechanical Technologies took care of me. Everything has been working great ever since and I still use their bi-annual maintenance services.“
