Did you know that your eyes can loose color (like your hair turning gray). I will be 60 soon and my eyes have slight gray ring on the edge of my dark brown iris. And because of the right testing and our Q&A, I can see like a champ.

“Dr. Gamez is hands-down the friendliest optometrist I've ever worked with. No disrespect to my childhood OD, but she was so nice and personable, and having worked for a nightmare of a eye doctor, I appreciated her demeanor.

She listens to you, and lets you participate in your treatment, where appropriate, so that you are informed and aware of everything that is going on with your vision. I'm not happy that I can't box because of my near-sightedness, but at least I know about that limitation.

I recently left the DFW area, so I unfortunately won't be able to continue seeing her, but I strongly encourage everyone who needs a new optometrist to see Dr. Gamez. She is the best.“

I was not even a patient of hers, but I walked in towards the end of the day this week because my eye was hurting, (about 1 hr before they closed). She took the time to work me in, and she gave me Cadillac service. She even did a follow-up appointment for me on a Saturday! Both she and her office staff were phenomenal! I am a patient now!
