“Our tech Craig came out to do a second inspection as a previous tech did’t fix our issue. We had lots of water dripping from our air filter in the attic. First guy said he had to ask the company if he could add insulation? That it was just condensation. He left with the issue not being addressed. Curious why that was! I called the company back because I said it was a problem still and would start molding in my AC with the amount of water soaking into my filter so they set up a second appointment with a new person. Craig immediately diagnosed the issue, said we absolutely needed insulation added and scheduled an appointment to come back to get it fixed. Today He cleaned up the water from our filter area, added insulation and got the job done. All was under warranty since AirTech of houston did our install.“

The company had recently upgraded the phone system and was having difficulty with it's integration. I was able to call them through FB messenger and get them out. They said that they were going to have it straightened out. They promptly serviced our unit and were as great as always.“

I also appreciate that they use shoe covers in my house! Adrian and his partner came today to fix our AC since the part had to be ordered. “AC stopped working on a late Friday afternoon. Found Southern comfort heating and Air through a Google search and liked they had a five-star rating.

Called and scheduled the appointment for the same day and our tech Jacob arrived within the prescribed window.

We were back up and running within the hour and Jacob was wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly and gave good clear explanations as to what was needed and why.

Honestly I can't comment on the price that we paid because I don't know if it's good, bad or right where it needs to be, I just know that they provided a fast and friendly service.

Our AC stopped working due possibly to a lightning strike and Raj assisted in getting it back running, checking current condition, and making recommendations to prevent future occurrences. The office was professional when calling me prior to the appointment and Raj arrived early for the appointment which was fantastic and communicated in advance. Raj demonstrated his professionalism by educating me on everything he was doing and ultimately made recommendations to install surge protectors on the AC compressor and the furnace. He also noted that the water overflow pan should have an automatic shut off sensor to ensure if clogged would not cause significant damage to the house. All in all a great experience and value for the money. Even the invoice came with many photos showing the work accomplished for our future reference. “Highly ethical is my best impression.I spoke to Steven initially and that conversation made me postpone getting other estimates for my a/c system replace.Austin came out to quote the job.His was honest and had a simple work ethic that I apprecciated:Do a very thorough,honest, good job at a fair price.He was not in a rush to make the sale and leave and did not take advantage of a possible upsale that I asked about because,he explained how, it would not be of much benefit for me.There was no BS about his manner.After the very fast 4.5 hour install by Santosh,(which looks great)Austin came back and installed a UV unit and did a much more than visual inspection including pressure checks.Again he was in no rush to leave and answered all of my questions.There are plenty of good HVAC technicians here in Houston but in my opinion Gilberts ethics made them stand out for me.They are my new HVAC provider.“
