“There were several items that delayed completion of the project. Salesman overstated several items available for the complete system. He assumed I had a Smartphone. This was needed to operate the thermostat. The thermostat company suggested I "just buy a smartphone". This needs to be made clear to a customer! He had seen the ducting on the old system. I requested some form of protection from animals chewing the duct work. Was told that was no problem. I figured this was some sort of standard product offer by any HVAC company. This is not true! It took several contacts to get this problem resolved. I would hope anyone dealing with the salesman makes sure there is full understanding of your requested and expected instilled equipment you are buying. This about covers all problems encountered in my purchasing of a new system. Make sure the people coming out to do the installation have a list of YOUR FULL REQUESTS. These kinds of problems can be encountered with any company. All of the people I dealt with at ARS Nashville were very professional and did all they could to accommodate resolution to the encountered problems. The installer were top shelf people and knew what they were doing and had good skills in dealing with the customer. They were also open to dealing with any problems that ARS would allow them to do.
