“John and his team design & produce what I call a “truly custom kitchen”. Most if not all other companies that claim to be custom, only offer prebuilt modular size box / rectangular units that they try to fit to every application.
This is not the case with John & Factory Direct Custom Kitchens – these are custom in every way. The height, depth & width can all be made to fit – plus can be built around anything! John came to our home & literally started with a blank screen to design our kitchen from scratch. He first talked thru our ideas but mainly worked to find out what would be most important to get from a new kitchen. For us it was to add additional seating, a sink, storage space for grill accessories, cabinet space, drawer space, meat prep space at least 18” wide and finally somehow incorporate our grills (Komada Joe & Lone Star Grillz pellet grill).
John came up with a bar design to add seating (which we had never considered) keeping the depth to a minimum so it didn’t take up so much space. We got our sink, the grills all fit, plenty of prep space, cabinet / drawer space and bar seating.
The installation went smooth and the project turned out great! We enjoy it so much and it really gives us two kitchens which is handy during the holidays (when using a patio heater). It’s also been very durable – no trouble at all so far. I highly recommend these guys. I would do it all again and will if we ever buy another home.“
