After his orevious client, but prior to calling me to the chair he cleaned all hair from chair and the floor as well as spritzed an alcohol spray (I assume) on the chair.
Once up we introduced each other and then I briefly explained what I was looking for. He obliged all my requests and provided a great cut and the perfect amount of conversation, matching my desire, never forced.
The military discount was substantial, but even without it the service and quality would be well worth sticker.

Pricing at JO Painting is extremely competitive and affordable. I did not expect the high level of workmanship for the very reasonable quoted price. It is honestly one of if not the most valuable bang for your buck thing I've ever done.

The house was built in 1745 so we were looking for someone who was very knowledgeable and had some experience with historic renovations. We work in the real estate and contracting business in Boston so our expectations were high. Dan came highly recommended from another colleague who worked on a historic renovation with him.Dan was very straight forward and good about communicating what's going on with the project. His craftsmanship was top notch and he stayed on top of his sub contractors. The house came out better than expected and we couldn't be more pleased. We are now looking for our next project.

I met with Malcolm who checked out my Subaru Forester. He was very professional and explained the whole process to me. Now Level Beauty has welcomed Deon, a manicurist who works miracles with your hands and feet. The price is comparable to the nail salons with 10 chairs but you get pampered in a lovely, quiet salon. Definitely check them out for hair, coloring, mani-pedis etc!

If i could leave a 20 star review, I WOULD. Jill literally saved my hair. I'm not exaggerating. When I first went to see Jill, my hair was falling out, fried, and all-together dead. Before seeing her, I tried every hair product across the board, expenses be damned. After my first appointment, she set me up with the Malibu hair-care line and showed me that my water was the real problem. I went from having an easily $500+ hair care routine that left my hair looking and feeling drab, thin, and motionless. Fast forward literally one month, I have a $120.00 hair care routine and its never felt healthier or happier. With my wedding fast approaching, I feel like Jill saved my life and wedding photos. Because of her, I can go into that day feeling and looking my best. Aside from her knowledge, she's so patient, kind, and compassionate. Top notch experience! Our group of 6 girls spent the day getting ready for a wedding at the Beauty Inn with Jennie and had the best time. Jennie did our hair and Make-up and it was exactly want we wanted! The lighting for photos in her studio was absolutely perfect!! We could have fit another 10 girls with plenty of space. Highly recommend Jennie for hair and makeup or as a rental space to get ready on Newport with your own stylist. 10/10!
Nice cash only walk-in barber shop that's affordable. They'll give you a decent cut. My experience was that I got one that didn't closely resemble the picture style I showed. I suppose I could have been more specific and demanding but decided it wasn't worth holding up other customers.

The ladies here are easy to talk to, funny and you feel like a friend here (at least I did). I’m still kicking myself for not coming here while we were stationed in Newport for the Naval War College. The ladies here do a great job as evidenced by my 25 day old no-chip manicure. As a military spouse, I’ve lived in many places and let me tell you the gel did not peel, and it did not chip!! This is what great work and good products looks like! If we are in the area again I will absolutely come here again!!
Also, the pedicure is still perf!?

Jess is the absolute best!! She completely transformed my hair back to a healthy blonde and I honestly couldn’t be happier. She made the whole process so easy, walking me through each step and explaining everything in a way that made me feel totally comfortable and excited about the results! I have been coming to Lindsay for over 10 years. I moved away and I was unhappy with my cut and color in Miami. As someone who travels a lot for work, I knew when I had time in Newport, I knew she could get my blonde perfect! She even addressed my haircut issues. Overall, I loved this massage place. I came to Newport for a work trip and have been meaning to get a massage for a while, as I am generally a very stressed person. I was checking out the ones in proximity to my hotel and Soleful Touch sparked my interest because I love tuina and reflexology. It really was fantastic!
Let me tell you, as soon as you walk in you are welcome with a warm towel to clean your face, the peace reach you instantly. The venue is a place to relax and use quiet voice.For those who love water this is a magic experience. The different temperatures of the pools and saunas, will make you forget everything and just enjoy your body let go of everything mundane. I recommend this venue it is one of my favorite places to go specifically during winter. Try it and let me know. But I know already Cheers
Love Spa Fjor for my appointments with Melissa. Melissa is always welcoming and so kind. She always asks if I have any concerns and listens carefully when I explain an issue. She offers advice and even walks out to go over products I may find helpful. When checking in the staff is friendly and so pleasant. The spa is calming and peaceful, the robes are lovely and the amenities offered are perfect. As a side note- It would be wonderful if there were a small shower in the Facial Room to use quickly before exiting to the public area. Overall my last two years have been a true pleasure. Really appreciate the valet parking, the staff in The Cafe are delightful and often I have breakfast or lunch in the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the menu has wonderful choices. Always look forward to “spa day”
The spa here is wonderful. We loved the staff, the ambience, and the full experience. The booking process was quick and easy. Checking in and getting settled went smoothly. There was a clean changing and waiting area. The staff is friendly and we had no complaints. Would definitely go back when in the area.
Now for my standard comments. Common areas are kept clean and accessible. Private massage rooms are clean, quiet, and peaceful.
Great experience today at this fabulous gallery. We were walk-ins, three sisters with a rather sudden inspiration to get shared tattoos while visiting Newport. Great work by Peter who was super patient and professional especially as we’re not very experienced with what to expect. Then there is also the wonderful store full of curiosities that calms any nerves. Highly recommend!

If you can find parking, it's a great way to spend a day walking up and down the shops. Find anything from antiques to tourist clothing. Lot's of little eats, coffee and trinkets.
Heather was very attentive and focused on my concerns and needs during our client intake. Her space is very inviting with a calm and peaceful energy. The massage was exactly what I needed to release the pain and pressure points. And the TMJ work really sealed the deal and made me so thankful for finding Heather! I hold a lot of tension in my mouth, grind my teeth in my sleep and my jaw clicks constantly depending on how stressed I am. Heather's skills helped melt all that away for weeks! I feel like my body was reset. She's so knowledgeable and understands how to explain exactly what is going on with your body through massage, your blood type, eating habits and lifestyle. I had "twinge" in my upper right shoulder blade for over a year and within several sessions, Michelle was able to get the knot out which provided a lot of relief to my pain. I had a wonderful experience at Bellevue Massage and Bodywork during a weekend trip to Rhode Island. Scheduling was easy and convenient on my short trip. Pricing was reasonable for a 60 minute integrated massage. The esthetics were beautiful and inviting for relaxation. Seth was amazing he integrated traditional Swedish with deep tissue and hot stone. AWESOME!!! I had one of the most enjoyable experiences and I have had alot of massages all over the country. Thank you Seth for adding something special to my trip.
