The Bodhi Spa Newport offers a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience. Customers praise the welcoming environment, top-notch staff, and exceptional treatments, including massages, hot tubs, saunas, and a eucalyptus steam room. Visitors describe the spa as clean, well-appointed, and providing great value, with many eager to return for another memorable visit. The pools, saunas, and steam room are all highly appreciated, with guests enjoying the quiet atmosphere, plenty of lemon water, and cool lavender towels. The outside garden, super hot sauna, and cold plung are highlighted as favorite features, making the water journey especially special. The staff is recognized for being super sweet and attentive, contributing to the overall positive experience.
The spa's massage therapist, Sharon Segatore, is highly recommended for her exceptional Swedish massages that can relieve months of pain and stress. While most visitors have positive experiences, some have noted mixed results with deep tissue massages from newer staff members. The management has shown a commitment to resolving issues promptly, including refunds and apologies when needed.
One common concern involves the locker room, which some find too small, especially during busy times when multiple guests try to shower or change at once. The limited number of toilets, sinks, and showers sometimes makes the experience less peaceful, especially after the water journey. Suggestions such as staggering start and stop times could enhance the overall relaxing atmosphere. Despite these minor inconveniences, The Bodhi Spa Newport remains a popular destination for those seeking a rejuvenating and calming spa visit, with many customers looking forward to returning and sharing the experience with friends.
Do not listen to Meg Dodge, she only writes negative reviews to get free or comped services from businesses. I have only positive things to say about the Bodhi and their staff; they do a wonderful job at the front desk. The facilities are extremely clean, the therapists are great, it is shame small businesses have to put up with Meg.
Clean. Peaceful. Unique. I’ve enjoyed the water journey for both a date night and girls reunion. I recommend to all open-minded folks.
Relaxing, makes the boost feel good. Not too crowded. Great experience
