Fabulous stay! Love the location -- an easy walk to downtown and the cliff walk. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was absolutely lovely, well-decorated, cozy, and spacious —I wish I could have stayed longer!
The Island House Newport earns my highest of praise and my strongest recommendation if you are staying in the area.
I've now stayed at this hotel twice, once when it just opened and I was in town searching for a rehearsal dinner location and again just last month for my own Wedding. I had made reservations here over a year out in advance but through most of my own mistake booked a smaller/wrong room for my wife's bridal suite during our wedding weekend. While in the moment this felt like a calamity, the staff (shout out to Yulia and Victoria) took it easy on me and were 1000% accommodating in helping me last minute upgrade our room to a larger one, which was thankfully...read full review
We had a fabulous experience! We were greeted by Victoria and she was amazing. Our room was perfect and SO clean and spacious. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need and made our stay very special. The staff even went above and beyond by decorating the room for our friend who we were celebrating a 50th birthday for! The location is ideal and our stay was memorable. Highly recommend!!
