“My mother passed away on July 18th of this year, and I still find it hard to truly believe she’s gone. She lived with my husband and me for 26 years, and her loss has left a tremendous void in our lives.
I had heard so many wonderful things about the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home and wondered, how good can they really be? When my father passed 30 years ago, I didn’t handle the arrangements — my mother and sister did — so this was a new and emotional experience for me.
From the moment we called early that morning when Mom passed, Joe and his team were absolutely amazing. Their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail made an unbearable time so much easier. We met with Joe the very same day, and he was kind, caring, and even managed to make us laugh a few times. His guidance was spot-on every step of the way.
Joe also recommended a cantor for the funeral mass, and she was wonderful. Denise in the office and Tiffany were equally supportive — always patient, kind, and quick to help, never making us feel like we were a bother.(which at times, we were) They truly treated us like family.
Losing my mother has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but looking back, I’m deeply grateful to the Lombardo team for helping us through it with such warmth and care. Everything turned out beautifully, and I know my mother would have been pleased.
I hope no one needs a funeral home anytime soon, but if you do, I can’t recommend this family-owned business highly enough. You will not regret placing your trust in them.

Tracy and Hank were immediately compassionate. As someone who’s never had to deal with this so closely or make arrangements they were and continue to be supportive, informative and have provided an immense amount of guidance. They helped walk me through the entire process. “Arlington is a wonderful place to walk -- lots of wildlife and beautiful azaleas. Unfortunately, on my last trip there a man drove into the cemetery with his pickup truck just before dusk and let/made his dog chase the resident fox around off-leash, which was upsetting to both my fiancee and I, as we are lovers of natural wildlife and think that using dogs to hunt foxes is barbaric, especially when we know from previous visits that this is a momma fox with several kits to protect. Additionally, there are signs at the entrances that say no pets? Really put a damper on our night, and now we'll be worried going forward that we'll see that happen again.

I would be very upset to learn that cemetery staff were contracting/permitting this individual to remove the fox family by hunting them with a dog, so I really hope that's not the case.“
