I haven't been doing well since my fathers passing but the people at Marvil (including Tracy) made it a professional and genuinely kind experience. I knew he was in good hands there.. They went above and beyond before and after they cremated my father. Even though we didn't pay for a viewing, they set him up in a dimly lit intimate room so I could see and touch my father and cry one last time. They had him wrapped and he had a peaceful expression on his face. It was a beautiful send off.After his cremation his bank was giving up no option but to put his minimal amount of money in an estate fund even though he had no estate whatsoever. We worked with Jen on following through on premade arrangements for my dad. We can't say enough good things about Marvil Funeral Home. They were sensitive and caring. Jen wanted to know more about my dad; what he was like and his life story. Jen felt like family and I was very comfortable speaking to her via phone and in person. She did a lot to help me.I do not know how they can pull everything off so smoothly and with such care, but they truly make a very difficult process so much better. Chuck Marvil took care of the arrangements of my paternal grandparents, uncle, aunt, and cousin. After attending my grandparents funerals three months apart from each other in 2003, it was because of his example and professionalism that I decided to follow the vocation of being a funeral director. Thank you Chuck, Jen, Tracy, and your staff for your years of continued excellence and professionalism exhibited to my family and all that you serve!
