“I was introduced to Action Karate Oreland when a friend invited me to a “Bring a Friend for Free” class. At first, I attended simply because I was invited and wanted to spend time with my friend. I didn’t think karate was for me as I am a 60-year-old woman and not in the best shape. “Sensei Alexander has been training with Tiger Schulmann’s for the majority of his life. He is a true embodiment of Tiger Schulmann’s and the curriculum. The guy is disciplined in the both the way he teaches and the way he trains. Sensei Alexander is a tried and tested Pro MMA fighter, BJJ competitor, and kickboxing fighter! Needless to say Sensei is an incredible instructor at both kids and adults skill levels. I truly believe Tiger Schulmann’s and Sensei have the best kids program out there, and you can see it first hand in the kids that Sensei Alexander has taught for 5-15 years now, that are ridiculously good and are successfully competing (and winning) now as Adults. This school specifically is a huge family, and is for anyone from any walk of life. There are people that come in cause they want to get in shape, and there are people that come in because they want to compete at the highest levels eventually.
