“We moved to a new area of Pittsburgh and were so sad to leave our previous groomer who worked with our anxious girl Ellie to help her get more comfortable with grooming. But the first time I brought our pitbull mix into Puffy Paws, they said they were so happy to have her breed which made me so excited as some groomers aren’t the most welcoming of dogs like her! We’ve been there twice now for monthly grooming and the second time Ellie was SO happy to get inside. She never seems anxious or scared when leaving, and for a rescue with a rough past who hates being groomed, that’s so important to us. They’re also very reasonably priced and fast, which is great for getting her groomed during the workday. So happy to have found a new groomer in our neighborhood!“

“my dog Oscar it was a cocker spaniel. Donna at Platinum pooch, groomed him since I rescued him 8 years ago. she was the only one Oscar would let touch him. I recommend her highly. not only a great groomer but a great friend. Oscar was put down on Monday. I'm very sad he was my buddy.“

“I appreciate how thorough Dr Juriga and Dr Bruno are. Everyone is very kind and personally I am always put in a room right after I check in, which is great for my pet Izzy’s anxiety since he doesn’t even like leaving the house, so not having to wait in the waiting area with other animals helps a lot. After the appt, you pay right in the room and then leave. Again no waiting at the front desk. They’re all excellent ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“Honestly my one dog is so bad at getting his nails cut that other groomers have said sorry we can’t get to his nails he didn’t let us. Theresa, the owner, has never said that. She makes sure she gets them cut and my dog listens to her. She also doesn’t make him bleed like you would think since he is so bad with it. She somehow makes him stay still. Literally thank god for her because without her I wouldn’t have anyone who would cut my dog pacos nails.“

“I couldn't recommend A Diamond in the Ruff any more highly. I spoke with Kathryn on the phone and in the salon and she was extremely friendly and helpful. They got my puppy in for his first grooming appointment really quickly and he had a great time making new friends while getting a great haircut. I'm so happy I found them and Charlie is too!“

“This place is perfect because My dog loves it! So that always a great thing! Only thing is I've stopped in and sat and waited for someone to come to the receptionist desk and nobody ever came. I'm not sure why because I heard people talking and I rang the bell at the front desk. The employees seem very friendly when you talk tho. And have waited for a long time to pick my dog up. Hard to get someone to answer the phone sometimes too. But I'd still deal with that to have my dog play there! It's very clean and my dog loves it. I also love the live web cam. You can watch your dog on nice cameras all day.“
