“We had Dailey do a full home window replacement project, which consisted of 12 double hung windows, a kitchen slider, a large dining room picture window replacement and a massive bay window. All of our original windows were so outdated and inefficient; quite literally falling apart.

We came across Dailey in our search and from a family recommendation from a family member who had used them roughly 25 years prior.

For the size of our project their pricing was right on point, perform the product quality and quality of the install. They met all of our requests in terms of the build and communication was easy throughout. The installers were awesome, easy to get along with and were very efficient and clearly had years of experience in the field. They operated on time and were in and out in 4 days start to finish, with a rain day cutting the day short mid week.

All in all, great work all around. Would recommend for window needs and will likely look to utilize Dailey for other project down the road.“

Working through the design and selection details up front is a lot of work but will pay off. Even if the owners have their own design team, Tilghman should consider having their own in house interior designer who will verify/optimize the design to best produce a design that fully describes the project requirements (construction specifics) for the construction leads to implement. Modern interior design tools will also help the owners to best visualize the final installation including best possible material color renderings.“

“We contracted PHI to do a substantial home renovation which included ripping down stucco, putting up vinyl siding, replacing every window, and installing new soffits, gutters, and downspouts.

This was a big project with a lot of details to get right. From the start, Brian came out and had a very in depth discussion about what we wanted and provided us with a detailed breakdown on costs as well as a computer mockup of what our home would look like after the renovation which helped us visualize the end result. We tweaked the proposal many times before signing the contract (plus a few times after), and the communication was always fast and informative.

Once the work actually started, the workers did a great job of caring for our property to make sure nothing was damaged. The team worked faster than I expected, with the entire project lasting about 12 working days (5 of which were dedicated to removing the stucco). Everyone involved was friendly and the foreman, Patrick, was very helpful when issues arose.

The entire project didn't go off without a hitch, there were a few minor headaches along the way (as I'm sure there would be with any project this size), but what sets PHI apart is how they went the extra mile to remedy those issues. The end result is fantastic and we have a house which we won't have to worry about for a long long time.“

“We completed a Kitchen / First Floor remodel in March 2026. I chose to wait a few months before submitting my review, in order to leave sufficient time to evaluate any post-construction issues.
We began our renovation project in the first half of 2025, with a methodical interview process of 6 to 7 local design/build firms. Most of the design/build firms take the same approach with potential customers. What set Mike F and Custom Craft apart was his desire to 'keep the conversation going' after the initial introduction and scope discussion. Mike F did this in a very gentle manner - it was not a 'hard sell'. We always felt like we were in control of the process. This approach allowed us to build a relationship gradually, based on mutual trust.
The design/build approach is certainly an expensive one, but recognizing that up front is important. You do get what you pay for - I mean that in the most positive sense in this case.
Once we selected Custom Craft, the team got to work. It was a true pleasure working with the team from beginning to end. Brittany M, our Designer, led us through the design process, making sure to understand our needs and translating that into a design that was truly unique and that made creative use of our existing spaces. She took the time to walk us through all the material selections. Even when we had a problem with the accent tile supplier, Brittany immediately found a suitable replacement (that we like even better!) that kept us on our original construction timeline.
The Construction team was just as professional, courteous, and highly skilled. Dietrich A (Project Manager) and Shawn G (Construction Lead) were consistently clear and frequent in their daily communications (both in person and in BuilderTrend). They neatly segregated the construction areas from the rest of the house, minimizing the disruption as much as possible. And the quality of the work is some of the best I've ever seen. Shawn G's craftmanship, attention to detail, and customer-focused work ethic are outstanding. Similarly, the various other trades that worked on the project followed Shawn G's lead in making this a truly memorable project that we will enjoy for years to come.
