“I have two cats who went to different clinics for their first visit and I can confidently say that World of Animals is the best and most affordable vet clinic in the Philadelphia area. At another place i was upcharged $140 just for exam, while World of Animals was only $90 visit fee. First difference between the clinics I noticed is that World of Animals staff treated my cat like she was the most beautiful girl in the world. Dr Flasik handled my cat with great care and definitely spent more time getting to know my cat than the other clinic did. Also the other place tried to sell me on Hills and gave me a goodie bag obviously marketed by Hills, while Dr Flasik and her team supported my cat's variety wet food diet as long as I brush my cat's teeth. Dr Flasik also took more time and care in addressing any issues or concerns I had about behavior. Overall, the vet and techs are highly knowledgeable about animals. This place truly cares about your pets like they are family, and I would NOT recommend going to a big corporate chain (VCA) even if they offer you a "complimentary exam" like I did for my kitten.“

“Had a wonderful experience. After going to another vet first, they tried to tell me surgery was the only option for my dogs ear/hematoma. I contacted Hamilton animal hospital and they gave me alternative options, which were less invasive and way more affordable. Dr. Erica was incredible. She cleaned her ears, drained the hematoma and gave her a steroid to help the healing process. The nurse, Rodney who helped keep my puppers at ease and calm through the entire procedure, was amazing! The entire office is so wonderful with animals, which sounds like a given but not all places are. They were quick and thorough, patient and kind. And my dog is now on her way to having relief from the pain. I highly recommend this business.“
“Everything went great. I had to take my dog for an exam and back again for dental cleaning and procedure. The Dr. Is great and they are very reasonable on pricing. My only complaint is they do not answer the phone or return messages. After trying to contact them for a couple weeks I had to drive over to schedule an appointment“
“I don't take my dogs to see Dr. Niggemeier often; it's always because they have an orthopedic problem. Every time I do need to go to the clinic, I am very grateful for the kind and knowledgeable care they receive. I don't know how much longer visits in the parking lot are going to go on (they are slightly disconcerting) but I understand the need for precaution these days and if my dogs have to keep being seen in the parking lot, it's worth it to see the doc and staff here.“

“The entire staff is very attentive, patient and kind. They’re very responsive via email and phone calls. The office is clean and inviting and we’ve always been seen on time. I love that it’s a cat only place since I’m not sure how my cat would react to being near dogs in a vet office! For being a smaller practice(I.e. not a chain such as VCA etc) I figured their prices might be be higher but they really aren’t. What we’ve paid for the services received has been completely reasonable. I look forward to continuing my cats care with them for years to come.“

“Dr. G and his team are amazing! I have a reptile, a leopard gecko named Tootsie, and Dr. G is the second vet I have visited to help with an eating issue.Just for a comparison, the first vet I went to felt extremely rushed (he saw multiple animals at once) and was very intimidating (not very sympathetic to my pet's issue). The solution my previous vet gave me ended up hurting my baby more so I was very nervous to seek out another vet.Dr. G and his team are the complete opposite. They see each animal one at a time, are informative, and truly care about each pet! From my past experience, I was scared to give Tootsie antibiotic injections (she is a special case) and they let me bring her in every three days for them to give her the medicine instead of me. My girl is still a WIP but the entire team is very dedicated to getting her better and I am so happy I chose to go here! I wish i did from the beginning.“

“Last Tuesday my pup had surgery to remove a benign tumor at his primary care. That went fine but then Thursday rolls around and he decides to go bananas. The lack of walks and sedation fully wearing off made him into a wild dog. Running back and forth. So much so that it ripped his stitches out. So we're sitting on the couch at about 10pm and see there is blood puddling under his leg. Like any good dog parents we freak out. Normally we would do PenVet but for some reason we called the primaries number after hours. That's how we got directed to VEG. We spoke with the receptionist there and she said bring him on in. So first off this is like no other vet I've been to. You wait right in the middle of the action. It's not like others where you sit for an hour before anyone speaks to you. I was taken immediately back and a nurse came over to me right away. The doctor was going from patient to patient and you could see it all in real time. There was no oh the doctor will get to you later. They gave him a shot and I was able to hold him and keep him comfy on a couch while he passed out. Everyone was more than willing to explain every step and this may be a little too much for others but I watch him get prepped for his stitches. After that I felt like I was being a nuisance even though they assured me I wasn't. He got so relaxed he pooped on the operating table. Once it was finished the nurse was bringing him over and he just started peeing all over the nurse. The nurse said that's been happening all day was not phased. They put him on a bed in front of the couch I was on while he came too. Every one kept stopping to check on him. One nurse even cleaned his ears while we waited. I had mentioned how much he refuses to have it done when awake. You felt the love of the job from the staff. So we left at about 1:00am and 20 minutes of that was him waking up. They told me there is another one opening up in fishtown under the El. Cost was a little over a grand. Given the nature of ER visits That is NOT terrible. Highly recommend this place for emergencies.“
