“I never ever leave reviews but I just wanted to express how lovely everyone was and how great my experience was at this office. I haven’t gotten my eyes checked since middle school and the process was so thorough to make sure everything was accurate with no false reading for my prescription. They double checked it all! I also got the cutest glasses at an affordable rate. I never wore glasses before but knew something was off and was lucky to have decided to come here. I’m not a big fan of doctors and a lot of my experiences are with people who see so many patients it’s so in and out and I never feel like I got all my answers. It was such the opposite here. Super caring staff etc. Thank you ❤️“

“I would give this MyEyeDr. location 5+ stars! Dr. Samantha Spinnato, OD is everything you want in an eye doctor—professional, patient, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. She truly takes her time, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel comfortable and heard the entire visit.

And I have to especially shout out Maria—she was wonderful from the moment I walked in. She helped me through the pre-exam and was so caring and gentle, explaining what she was doing and why each step mattered. She made the whole process feel easy and reassuring, and her warm, calm personality instantly puts you at ease. She’s not only helpful and efficient, but genuinely kind—just an all-around lovely person to interact with.

Debbie, the store manager… where do I begin? She truly feels like the glue that holds the whole place together. People coming in and out of this location clearly know her well, and it’s easy to see why. My personal experience with her was excellent: she’s caring, patient, and really listens to what you want and need. She also gives thoughtful recommendations without ever making you feel rushed or pressured.

“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mark Abraham at Aegis Eyecare for many years. I have a particularly difficult issue with my left eye. Specifically, I have an Astigmatism that is so severe that creating an effective script to allow me to see out of my left eye, even with glasses, was incredibly challenging. Two years ago, Dr. Abraham was able to diagnose and develop a script for my glasses, that was life changing. For the first time in years, I was able to see out of my left eye. This was only accomplished because Dr. Abraham took the time and effort to make it happen. Dr. Abraham changed my life for the better by giving me back my sight in both eyes. My wife and I moved to Virginia a few years ago to be near our children and grandchildren. I still come back to see Dr. Abraham whenever I need care. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.“

“My son had an emergency and needed to see an eye doctor. It was urgent, to determine if his optic nerve was pressing against his brain, and if there was swelling in the brain. I contacted the office and Kitty got my son an immediate appointment the next day. The doctor reviewed the results with us same day. Kitty made sure the results were promptly sent to the neurosurgeon and followed up with me to make sure the neurosurgeon received everything he needed. We received great, prioritized care, and the best customer service. We wouldn't go anywhere else!“

“LOVED this Dr.! He took his time with me as a new patient. Not only did he explain, he actually educated me with the latest eye health recommendations, from diet to blue light...never have I encountered this. My 13 yo boy tagged along. The Dr. not only took the time to engaged my son in conversation, but made it a point to say ' your mom is now 3 lines past perfect, remember that'. “Update 11/3. I decided to try the new doctor in the practice, Dr Nader. Our appointment was at 9:15. She arrived in the office at 9:30. She looked at us in the waiting room and said nothing. When she came out to bring us back a few minutes later, she didn’t say a word about the fact that she was late. I know things happen but would have appreciated at least an acknowledgement given that we were missing school and work. I will stick with Dr Rehak in the future.Previous reviewI have been a patient of Dr. Rehak's for over 15 years. I have recommended Colonial Family Eyecare to many friends. My entire family goes here as well. Dr. Rehak takes his time to explain our eye health. He worked with me to find a lasik provider that would be a good fit for me. I never feel rushed in an appointment or while picking out frames. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. Debby is absolutely amazing. She is always patient and friendly. She knows the insurance plans very well and is always helpful navigating the various plans we have been on.“

“Dr. Chacha and her husband, Nippon are fantastic! I have been a patient for many years. At 67, I am very particular whom I will go to for my eyes considering I have macular degeneration and need a well versed doctor. Dr. Chacha has always been spot on and I sincerely believe I still have legible sight due to her attention to detail. Her husband compliments her practice by providing a perfect fit and position of my bifocals every time. If you need a good, honest, reliable and personable practice where both Dr. Chacha and her husband will “get it right”, then Family Eyecare is the place to go. Even my wife, who is a skeptic changed to Family Eyecare and is very pleased.
