“Best Vet experience I’ve had with Pippin. I have had very terrible experiences at AVETS and Banfield with my beloved Pippin. The whole staff at the Monroeville Animal Hospital were extremely kind and didn’t act as if Pippin was a dollar sign. He came in for a conjunctivitis case . They treated him with love and kindness and we need more vets like these people! Will definitely make them my primary vet for Pippin. Thank you guys! He got his eye ointment treatment and everything should be smooth sailing from here. :)“

2205 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh“All the doctors at the Penn Animal hospital are very good and accommodating. What's really nice is they have an open Vet time Monday through Friday 10 AM to 1 PM whereas you can just walk in, you don't need an appointment during this time?“

5500 Butler St Unit D, Pittsburgh“I couldn’t be happier with our experience here! I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu and Dr. Mansfield was so thorough in going over her medical history and things to look out for in the future. The staff were kind and incredibly prompt which I appreciate so much, and the space was clean which I imagine is hard to keep up with at a vet clinic. Due to moving around a bit, my dog has been to three different vets in the Pittsburgh area and while they’ve all provided great care, I was most impressed by the care, staff, and provider at Lawrenceville Vet Clinic.“

701 Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh“My cats have been boarding there 2 days, I’m still 1200 miles away on a trip, and I couldn’t help but go ahead and write this review. They are kind, compassionate, loving, patient, and absolutely obsessed with loving our animals as their own while we’re away. One of my cats has asthma, and it’s really hard for me for me to leave her at all, but I’ve never felt so safe with her being somewhere else. Pet parents - this is the place you want your kids to be when you’re not there. I’m so beyond impressed and so thankful for them! The Nestcam is a GAME CHANGER. Incredible people, and I’ll be switching them over to this clinic for their primary vet needs when I get home.“

415 Gettysburg St, Pittsburgh“I just want to give a huge shout out of THANKS to my veterinarian, Dr. Linda Mathias, and ALL THE ENTIRE STAFF at Point Breeze Vet!!! I have been going to PBV for over 20 years. They are beyond kind and courteous and I have to say the way they have been handling all of this crazy Covid is beyond impressive!!! It's an incredibly stressful situation they are placed in. Yet they have managed this all so seamlessly and will kindness and calm. I will FOREVER be grateful to Dr. Larry Gerson for all of his help and knowledge over the years. I have been to several other vet practices with friends and through the volunteer rescue work I do. I have NEVER been as impressed as I am with Point Breeze Vet. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient. . . They truly are like family. My family and I would be lost without them. They have supported us through the best of times AND the very worst. No one I trust more to work with my pets' medical needs. For the record, I am not easily impressed nor do I trust easily. However, they just NAIL IT. Have never let me down nor failed me in ALL the years I have been a client. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Thank you PBV from Amy V. Bluedorn and crew“

560 McNeilly Rd, Pittsburgh“I love the care my cats have received from Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care. I was first introduced to this practice being a foster mom for Theo and Dr. Thornton being who my cat rescue introduced me to for his care. Once i adopted Theo, I continued to use Rivers Vet exclusively for him and my other cats. I have seen Dr. Thornton and Dr. Neihaus and am thoroughly pleased with both their attentive care given to my cats. I feel they take time, explain clearly what I need to know, answer any questions, and are tender with my cats. I never feel admonished, only educated. The entire staff treats me and my cats with respect.i like, too, that I wait in the car eith my cats til they ate ready for us. The only downsides? They have a number of walk-ins allowed which is great but, just know, the wait can be very long (last visit was 2 hour wait but it was not life or death and I had the time so wait we did in the car). Not their fault. They are a busy practice. It is what it is. I was thankful to be able to have my cat be seen same day as when I called. Patience is needed here and every other vet practice anymore -- Supply vs. Demand.“
“First, they were able to get us in the same day. Which is very rare for a veterinarian.Dr. Sweeney and his associate were so kind and gentle with our cat during the examination. His diagnosis was bad. Dr. Sweeney gave us time to process and decide the next step without any rush. He gave our cat an injection to put him to sleep before the euthanasia injection and this made us feel more comfortable staying with him until the end. When his ashes were returned, he included a paw print out of clay and a heartfelt card expressing his condolances. Simply amazing, I wish we would of found him sooner to care for all our animals.“
“Great service and we’ve been taking our animals here for years. Staff is very friendly and compassionate.“
