“I own a Sears Kit Home, built by my grandfather in the 1920’s. It needed repairs, updates and a general spiffing up. I wanted to keep the home true to its original form as much as possible. Also, I wanted someone who appreciates and respects older construction and materials to do the work.<br>After interviewing several remodeling/renovation companies, some who insisted on tearing out walls, John McCloskey walked in and smiled at the craftsmanship and understood my house. He saw the foibles found in old homes, like the sloped flooring. And came up with a quick and easy fix. Jessica did a fantastic job walking me through the process, selecting fixtures, coordinating contractors, and keeping me updated on the project. I live elsewhere and she accommodated my schedule when I came into town to see the progress. The crew were respectful of my home and property and were polite and patient with all my questions.<br>I can honestly say, I was very pleased with the JFrancis team from start to finish. I think my six year old granddaughter summed it up perfectly, “This house feels the best of all the houses I know. I am going to live here someday.””

From the very first phone call to schedule a consultation for an estimate, to completion of the project, his communication was everything you could want from a contractor. Every phone call and text message received a prompt response, and we always received an actual answer with the information we needed.<br><br>Even with significant weather delays and supply issues, the project was completed on time and on budget. We made some design changes and modifications along the way, and the additional costs of these changes was clearly communicated beforehand and done within the quoted prices.<br><br>Any time you take on a project this size, things aren’t always going to go as planned. We encountered several minor issues during this build, and Trent always stepped up to make it right and offered a solution that was fair for everyone.<br><br>We were also highly impressed by his attention to detail, and unwillingness to cut corners on any aspect of the job. From the time the excavator broke ground until they finished mopping the floors, the level of craftsmanship and pride in their work was evident throughout the entire process.<br><br>In the areas that we allowed them to have creative freedom, they far exceeded anything we could have designed ourselves.<br><br>We cannot say enough good things about Trent and his crew, we would highly recommend them for any project you are looking to get done, big or small!”
