“Visiting Angels has been a miracle for my Mother and family on every level. It started with a compassionate visit with Shannon, VA's director of client services, who walked us through the process of hiring someone to come into my Mom's home to spend engaged time with her, supporting her in ways that included socialization, physical therapy prescribed by her doctors, light house work, errands to appointments, trips to museums, and other needs as they came forth. With a changing weekly schedule, VA was supportive at each step, with a staff that was accommodating (with thanks to Veronica and Rosa), and even more over, nurses who spent time with my Mom and who went out of their way to treat her with kindness, compassion, and humor. They have been ideal partners.

Honestly, if I could give 6 stars or more, I would do so. This is a company that lives its mission with integrity, and I learned to trust them with someone I love dearly. My Mom was in the best of hands, and Tisa and Tcharline were exceptional in their care of someone they just met. They are remarkable people and professionals both. What a gift for Mom to have spent time with them.

I recommend Visiting Angels to you if you have a family member in need. I know first hand how difficult this time of transition is for those of us with aging loved ones, but it's good to know that Altamonte Spring and further, Winter Park, Orlando, and the entire region is served so expertly by this company. “We had a wonderful experience with this organization and especially with Emily. We originally started services for our son based on a recommendation from his pulmonary doctor due to concerns about possible aspiration.

In the short time we worked with her (our son was cleared from needing services from his doctor soon than expected) Emily made a tremendous impact. She provided us with practical exercises, helpful techniques, and valuable insight that we could easily incorporate into our daily routines. During that time our son's language skills noticeably improved. He went from occasionally using two-word phrases to using them much more consistently and even began using three-word phrases.

Emily was always professional, knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful with our son. He genuinely looked forward to seeing her and would get excited when she came for visits. She was also flexible, communicative, and dependable. One thing that really stood out was the laminated resource she created for us so we could continue practicing her techniques between sessions.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and guidance Emily provided. She is clearly passionate about what she does, and it shows. We would absolutely recommend this organization and would not hesitate to work with Emily again in the future.“

“I started out at Age In Place Home Care as a caregiver. I enjoyed being a caregiver for Age In Place Home Care because it gave me the opportunity to to meet some great individuals with some really great histories. In October 2020 I had a heart attack requiring open heart bypass surgery at which point I was home on the mend. Erika has been great in finding me caregivers that are very attentive to my care. I have to go to a lot of appointments and they have done well with driving me back-and-forth to them. I also have five dogs and they help with taking them out and bringing them back in. It’s just a very nice company to work for and to be a part of and I’m glad that I chose this company to provide my care.
