“Vikk and Daniel, along with the rest of crew are a stand up team. They did a wonderful job tearing off a couple layers of old shingles along with some original wood shingles in some parts of the roof, laying down and repairing the decking, and installing a modern roof on a house that needed an overhaul. Vikk’s knowledge and the time he spent making sure we understood our options, the importance of ventilation, and not putting pressure on us to do anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary sold us, on top of a referral from neighbors whose parents had also used Stalcup and were very happy with them. We really appreciated how the job was quoted, with necessities clearly separated from optional upgrades. There was some momentary confusion about the placement of a few intake vents near a couple sections of flat roof and they made it right. The owner Jay came out himself to take care of it on a holiday weekend since we had the project completed right before July 4th. We highly recommend Stalcup Roofing.“

“Well it happened again. I needed a roofer because I’m old and can’t get on my roof. And my man Austin came by a new house I bought and walked the roof. The house had moisture coming in somewhere but no one could find it. It ended up being cracked pipe seals. So when it rains only a little water came in. Just enough to heat and mold. The home inspector didn’t know where it was coming from and we spent $3500.00 to get rid of it. And in 5 minutes Austin showed me what was really going on. I’m pretty happy I don’t have to worry about mold or drips again. In oregon. When it rains. It rains.“

“Wow what a time we had. Let me start with Brian, poor guy, This had to be his longest estimate in his career, Unfortunately for Brian I am that pain in the you know what guy. We discussed underlayment's and how they are applied, we discussed all roofing options, fascia board repair, and eave repair. Brians Knowledge is what I needed to help make my decision for what would be the best fit for my 1920s home.
The tear down was done cleanly and efficiently, By efficiently, I mean there was a chance of rain. The team made sure we where always dried in. No leeks during the project. Cleanup every night, and of course more questions from you know who.
(The Crew) Shawn has put together is quite the crew, Again everybody friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain why, what, where and how, to you know who.

I believe the first few days were smoking hot, attitudes where high, everybody working together like a well oiled machine and get this they were having fun, The comradery between the team was great, hell I wanted to join the fun.
Point being, If you're having fun and enjoy the work you do the outcome is Quality. Oh by the way the rain came down Hard they stayed up on that roof and made sure we would be good and dry for the night. They were all sopping wet and still good attitudes, joking around no big deal.
I have worked with many contractors in my time but have not had the experience I have had with French Roofing. Lets just say, French Roofing will be handling all my roof projects and will be the only recommendation I will be giving out.
