Alicia was patient and explained reasoning for the injury, in addition to giving treatments on site, and provided online physio exercises that made it easy to follow. She is very knowledgable, nice and client friendly, so I recommend her.“

545 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto
Global Health Physiotherapy Clinic Physical Therapy

“I highly recommend this place to recover from your injury. If you think the five-star reviews are fake or just marketing, they are not. The team truly helps you regain your physical ability. I had an accident that broke my right leg, and I couldn’t walk for almost five months. Although my doctor said I was recovering quickly and would soon be able to walk, I was still afraid to walk and return to normal life. However, Binal, Parisa, and Michael helped me gain the confidence to exercise again. They not only improved the condition of my right leg but also supported me mentally by encouraging me during every exercise session. Just trust them, communicate your feelings or worries, and follow their instructions. You will see your movement improve. If you are worried about communicating in another language, they can help you with that as well. Miss you all!“

“Rolled over the wrong way while sleeping and I suddenly had a terrible case of vertigo. I suffered with it for a day before realizing I needed a physiotherapist who could handle vestibular issues. Tom Bennett at Athlete’s Care diagnosed horizontal BPPV (benign positional paroxysmal vertigo) and treated it the first session. We did another session to make sure it was gone but Tom got it right the first time. Such relief. Tom’s a quiet professional who’s calm demeanour was exactly what was called for. Very happy that I don’t feel hideously dizzy anymore. Thanks Tom.“

“I have been going to Axis for about four months now, and I highly recommend it! The space is lovely and very clean and the staff are truly wonderful and kind. Booking an appointment was a breeze and paying through my insurance was not a problem. Prior to this, I had never done massage therapy before, and was actively skeptical of its benefits. But Tyler is really great at what he does! And I can say, without a doubt, that my shoulder and hip pain have improved significantly. Very much recommend giving Axis a try! ?“

“I had the pleasure of working with Varuna Singh as my physiotherapist, and I can’t thank her enough for the difference she has made in my life. Varuna is not only highly skilled at what she does, but she is also very patient, supportive, and attentive. She always explained everything clearly and tailored the sessions to my needs. I’m truly grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent physiotherapist.“

Dr. Lawand goes out of his way to determine the root cause of any issues, always remembers the details I share, and consistently brings in the latest research to guide his treatment.

“Had dislocated my elbow this summer and had to go through physiotherapy to recover and have my elbow back to normal which couldn’t have been a better process than I had at this center! Reza was a tremendous help in making it a swift recovery and the rest of the staff were very helpful throughout my recovery. Felt like every patient got all the care they needed and I imagine this center will be seeing me again in the future whenever I do end up doing something as stupid as dislocating my elbow lol. Thank you Reza!“

“Went to clinic for relief of neck pain, specifically sharp turning pain at bedtime.
After 1st session and 1 week of home exercise the treatment plan Brent taught me appears to have worked as the sharp pain has ceased. Excellent job.
Brent walked me through each exercise, took video of each and he did not talk down to me as I flubbed the training. Very professional.
I recommend this clinic and Brent and would not hesitate booking another few sessions as needed.“

“I’ve seen several RMTs over the years, but Joanna Rogowska stands out as exceptional. From the moment I walked in, she listened carefully to my concerns, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and tailored the entire session to my needs.
• Attentive assessment: Joanna took the time to understand my specific pain points and daily routines, then explained how each muscle group could be affecting my discomfort.
• Perfect pressure: She maintained a pressure that was firm enough to release deep tension yet never crossed into discomfort, a balance only a skilled therapist achieves.
• Expert technique & knowledge: Throughout the massage she shared practical tips on posture, stretching, and at-home care so the benefits would last long after I left the clinic.
• Professional & calming presence: Joanna’s friendly demeanor and clear communication immediately put me at ease, turning the appointment into a genuinely relaxing experience.
I left feeling lighter, looser, and armed with actionable advice to prevent the pain from returning. If you’re searching for an RMT who combines technical expertise with genuine care, book with Joanna Rogowska you won’t be disappointed.“
