The damage in the basement ended up being more extensive than was visible from the outside, and they were great about adjusting the work that needed to be done, and even came back the next day to finish the job! From the very beginning, Ming from Reno Mumu provided an accurate quote with honest, upfront pricing - there were no surprises along the way. Communication was clear and consistent, and she was always extremely responsive whenever we had questions or needed guidance.

The quality of workmanship across all trades was excellent. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, with careful attention to how the tile, countertops, and wallpaper worked together aesthetically so everything flowed seamlessly. The tradespeople were all very pleasant, meticulous and ensured precision in their work. I was impressed with the seamless flow from tile to wooden floors without any transition pieces. The final result delivered overall was exactly what we had agreed upon in the original design plan.

Ming was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the project, especially when we made minor changes - such as switching lighting fixtures more than once. She truly felt like a partner in the process, making us feel as though our project was her top priority. She took everything to heart, checked in often, and genuinely helped ease the typical stress that comes with renovations.

She was a pleasure to work with - patient, kind, and professional - and her entire team was equally helpful and respectful. They truly offer a one-stop-shop experience, handling project management, design, trades, and suppliers. Ming even went above and beyond by offering us a post-renovation cleanup, which we greatly appreciated.

What really stood out was that her involvement didn’t end when the project was finished. She continues to check in afterward to ensure everything is working well and that we’re happy. The project was also completed exactly within the expected timeframe.

Ming is highly knowledgeable in her craft—a true expert in design, trends, and quality craftsmanship. Her recommendations for fixtures and finishes were excellent, and she was equally supportive of our own preferences. For example, we chose a different tile supplier, and she worked with them seamlessly and without issue.

“We just finished our last payment for our Over the Garage Addition and are thrilled to call our project completed. Our new space is a roomy 24’x15’ and everything we expected it to be. The workmanship was excellent thought out the build. Modular Home Additions handed all the building pieces. The project started in September with removal of the old garage roof. That was immediately followed by the framing, roof, windows and insulation. We were all winter proofed before the snow in December. Inside finishing gave us a wonderful 14 foot cathedral ceiling, plenty of south and west day lighting, energy efficient foamed insulation , clean surface finishes and a dedicated heat pump for the room. The many crews from Modular were all well seasoned and quality tradesmen who took pride in doing a first rate job. We did not have any call backs for any quality issues. Modular lead all the interim building inspections and was there for the final inspection. The occupancy permit came the next business day. We were pleased. We choose Modular for this project because our neighbours recommended them and we are pleased to recommend them to others looking for professional quality home additions.
