“We were in the middle of a kitchen reno this past August when we noticed a spot on the drywall in the bathroom right above. Upon inspection from the attic, we saw the insulation and drywall were soaked, We called our roofer (Simon Zhao from Guildwood who did a shingle replacement for us a few years ago) for help. The next day Simon showed up with a crew member for an inspection - no flaw was found so a water hose soak test was done and showed that one of the roof vents was the source - it had developed a crack. Simon came back the next day replaced the vent. Problem solved. I cannot recommend Guildwood Roofing enough! Friendly, honest competent. Thanks again Simon.“

“My neighbour had noticed a squirrel entering the attic through an underhang. Brian from SWAT checked the attic from the inside and outside, then installed a one-way grate which will be removed in a couple of weeks. He also noticed the chimney was uncapped and discovered a raccoon living in it, so he installed another one-way grate. I have the option to choose additional preventive measures when he returns to seal the holes. In sum: competent, speedy, friendly and proactive work. Definitely recommended.“

“Jimmy and his team did an amazing job with my roof. They were very careful and laid down tarps on the grass to not damage any of the flowers. They also repaired the existing drains as they were falling or were not level from all the years. I had issues where the water in certain spots was not draining and just pouring over the side like a waterfall. It has rained several times since and no more issues. I asked the crew several questions and they listened to all of them. The clean up of the property was top notch. No shingles no nails left on the ground and they even cleaned my leaves. Lol. Could not be more happy and recommend this company for your roofing needs. Also the owner was awesome. He came to the house during the repairs and also came after for an inspection. Great job guys. Super happy. ☺️“

“Mark and his assistant Hector are extremely professional. Before contracting the job, Mark pointed out all the problems, and very honestly told me that he wouldn't make any repairs as the eaves were beyond repair. They were over 40 years, original to the house. They came on time, worked hard, precisely and once finished, cleaned up after finishing. You never would guess that a contractor worked most of the day around the house. Mark pointed out several improvements to the existing eaves layout which make a lot of sense and will improve the water flow and snow and ice melting, protecting the roof and the house. I not only recommend Mark and his assistant, but will call them again when I need to replace my roof, which probably is due in a couple of years.“

Honestly, they spent 12 hours working on the roof of a 2300 square-foot house. Not once did I see his guys take a break besides a 20 minute lunch. “I called Top Roofers after watching them working on the roof replacement near my home in a morning. Bruno came and went on roof to exam the site. Then he presented the quote with his companys standard template. This was my first time doing roof replacement and I had no idea what to expect. But his template clearly detailed what to prepare before install new roof, what materials to supply, what to replace including shingles, air vent, and some other works such as install new heaven-gauge pre-pained steel for the chimney, seal all new and existing roof flashings using high-grade caulking, replace existing plumbing vent flashings, clean eavestroughs completely. The other thing I want to highlight. After he went on roof to exam the site, he told me that we don't need to replace the roof above the sunroom. This saved me some cost for the job!! We had a quote before. But no one mentioned that to us. They started work as per schedule and completed the job less than a day, just 10 minutes before the rain falls. They covered all working area around the home before starting and they cleaned up after the work was done. They used a tool to remove all nails as well. Great team! Great job! We did discover an issue that the air vent on sunroom. Bruno re-examined right away and offered to fix it the next day with a reasonable cost. And they did. They installed new air vent and new metal flushing. Overall, we are very happy with their work. Wed love share our experience with Top Roofers. Thank you Bruno and all your roofers!“
