I went in to see Ally without a ton of expectation, not because of Ally but because it has been very hard to find someone who knows how to cut my hair. I have curly hair with a few cowlicks. Typically when I get my hair cut, it is bottom heavy OR if layers are added, it puffs up and looks awful. I wanted something low maintenance and subtle color. After explaining my goals and concerns, she explained she understood the struggle because she is also a curly haired girl. It wasn't just lip service. This stylist DELIVERS!!! She knew exactly how to cut my hair!!! I am so happy with the end results and she will continue to be go to person! Go see her! You will not be disappointed!

Over 20 years ago I first set foot in the Kang Do Won. I sat on the visitors bench watching Grand Master Lewis, Master Lewis, and Master Hotchkiss guide my nephew, niece, and many other students in learning martial arts.
I was impressed with their way of teaching. Sometimes very tough, but more often a gentle hand and kind words to bring students along.
A few months later, I bowed into class for my first time. While often difficult, I have no regrets starting this journey. I have learned more than I ever imagined. Training in the art of Kang Do has improved every aspect of my life. Physical, mental, relationships, work situations... All have grown and improved.
I've witnessed many other students grow beyond what they believed they could be.
Master Hotchkiss has carried on the beliefs and ways of Grand Master Lewis and his teachers.
Over twenty years later and I learn something every time I step on the training floor.
My journey will never end. I highly recommend the Kang Do Won to others.

Go see Jairo! He is truly an artist and a stylist. He treats each of his haircuts as works of art and it shows!! Ive never gotten so many compliments on my hair and beard since I started going to the Refinery and seeing Jairo. I have difficult hair to work with (i.e. cowlicks) and he makes everything look incredible. Jairo has an eye for attention to detail and goes above and beyond to give you the best haircut. The shop has a very cool nostalgic feel to it, and everyone makes you feel warm and welcome. I always walk out feeling like a Rock Star!

Perfection! Since moving to the Mentor area I have failed to find a salon I wanted to return to. They’ve been just ok, awful, or a complete disaster. That’s officially changed! This is my new nail salon! Both my kid and I got a mani and I got a pedicure. We’re both so happy with how it looks! Mallory really listened to what I wanted and also listened to my feedback from my trial to create the look I wanted. It was exactly like my Pinterest inspo pic. I felt so beautiful and happy on my day. My girls also loved their hair. My hair held all day too… and also through multiple times of taking my veil in and out.
Mallory is also just a really fun person to work with. She also did my rehearsal hair and came to me with ideas on what I could do and literally nailed it. I got so many compliments.

Katherina was fantastic! I just had an inner forearm tattoo done by her and she was super professional, clean, and really cared about every detail. She is a great artist and does really solid work. She is kind and patient and really took her time to get the design exactly how I wanted it. Will definitely be going back to Katherina for more work. Highly recommend!
I have now gotten two tattoos at the Willoughby location of Black Dahlia and I highly recommend Lea White and her work!! I am so impressed at her ability to design a tattoo based off a brief description and match the aesthetic and vibes exactly to what I was wanting. With both my pieces, she placed them so they worked really well with my anatomy to accentuate the designs.
She also makes you feel really safe and comfortable asking for any changes to the design or stencil and doesn’t make you feel rushed. She also works with you to incorporate the design elements you want while offering her professional opinion of what would work best, which I appreciate since I am not an artist.
Gentle is not a word I previously would have associated with the tattoo process but Lea truly does have a gentle touch. I was honestly very comfortable during both sessions.
Booking is very easy through the form on her Instagram profile and she is very communicative before, during, and after the tattoo process.
Parking is also very accessible and easy. There is a free, off street lot in front of the store. There is one step up to get into the building.
Dude rating his own studio 3 stars because he lost a piercer is kind of iconic. John is an amazingly funny guy and specializes in tour traditional tattoo styles. Does his best to be honest about what will heal the best but make sure all tattoos are placed and sized for quality healing regardless. Nearly a 2 hour session for $167 was a steal and I will be going back to him for any tattoos ideas I have.

We’ve had flooding issues in our home ever since we moved in 4 years ago, and had many plumbers come and try and fix the issue, but to no avail. So we finally figured we would call the city of Eastlake and asked who they recommend. Domenicks were the first they mentioned, and there’s a reason why. He’s been in the business for years, and gets down to the root of the problems. That’s what he did for us, and our flooding issues were finally solved thanks to him and his team. He was knowledgeable, informative, and very nice guy. We can’t thank him enough for fixing our problem. They even fixed our lawn after all the digging, putting down top soil and grass seed that grew so fast! I would recommend him to everyone!

I've had chronic neck and shoulder pain with a gnarly knot in my shoulder blade for decades. Too many years with a desk job, bad posture, and sleeping in the fetal position. I should have gone to a chiropractor years ago, but instead I used deep tissue massages, magnesium spray, so many pillows, and different massage guns. After a handful of visits with Pat, I'm feeling progress, less pain, and the gnarly knot is gone. Still have more work to do but, Pat is the man! Highly recommend.
