“Over the last 3 years, Morel has transformed our landscaping and curb appeal. We started with a complete tear out and redesign of our front landscaping. That included adding a bed in front of our front entrance sidewalk and a decorative stone wall. I wanted color throughout the growing season with perennials and ornamental bushes and small trees. The landscape architect really listened to my vision and thoughts and he designed a great plan. The installers were excellent at their craft and meticulous. The second year, we had them replace 1/2 of the plantings around our patio as well as adding a stone border and landscaping lighting. The lighting really enhanced the beauty of our patio oasis. We were so pleased with the lighting that we had them back this year to add landscape and path lighting to our front yard. We are so pleased with the results. We receive many positive comments from visitors as well as from other contractors and delivery individuals. They may not be the cheapest, but their quality workmanship is worth it!“

Explanations along the way, redoing some of the plumbing that wasn’t expected, great payment schedule, and awesome finishing work. “Directions: I-71 exit 231 (OH-82 WB.) To Prospect Rd (OH-237 NB), turn right. 1/4 mi after RR crossing and stop light, look for the green Kalinich sign in front of the white house. Turn right into the driveway immediately afterwards (swing wide/it's easy to miss). Will be turning into the driveway between the two small white houses. Will see loading docks straight ahead. Will need to do a U-turn or Y-turn to get turned around. They gave me a dock quickly and started loading me right away. When you bump the dock, pull forward an inch or two so they can raise the dock plate.“

“The process with Ohio Buckeye Plumbing was beyond easy. I called Monday morning and by Tuesday afternoon we had a new water heater. They are the BEST! Mike was on time, incredibly professional and kind - worked so hard and left the space better than he found it. The pricing was fair (we got two other quotes). Truly, I hope I don't need a lot of plumbing work, but I will always call Ohio Buckeye Plumbing if I do!“

“I can’t say enough good about this company. It started with the quoting process, the man that came out was very friendly, easily understood our plans, and told us how’d they do it. The estimate came back promptly and was very fair! The work they did was phenomenal! They ran into a major problem on one of the areas (not their fault—just the prior person that did poor work coupled with the age of the house at 111 years.) They presented the problem honestly, explained the options, and worked with us towards a solution. They worked tirelessly to fix the problem area right and the adjustment they made to the price was EXTREMELY reasonable given the amount of work it took. That area turned out truly amazing! When they were done, the whole area was cleaned up nice for such a dirty job! They communicated very well the whole time and always showed up at time with a smile on their faces!

Work done: 1. cut out and replaced water-damaged, bowing area of plaster and adjacent crack. 2. Fixed another large unsightly crack in plaster elsewhere in the room. 3. Scrape and completely refinish a textured plaster ceiling and made it smooth (this was the part that was originally supposed to be to remove some bad mud work and retexture until they discovered the whole thing was “delaminating.”)

I will absolutely use them again next time something needs fixed up on our old house!“

“I have positives and negatives, so please read the entire thing. The reason for a 4-star rating is at the end of this review! Otherwise, it would not have been more than 2-stars! My dining room bay window was badly damaged by the hail storm back in May 2024. I contacted Joyce Factory Direct and they replaced the window months ago. The salesman, Mason, was polite and knowledgeable. I hired Joyce Factory Direct. Much of the work was covered by my homeowner's insurance. The crew was professional and the installers were pleasant to work with. I provided bottles of water. They ran into a problem in my sideyard (of which I was unaware). I live in a rural country area and there are a lot of wild animals out here. Deer, possums, raccoons and bears left fleas in the side yard. These poor guys were covered. I provided flea spray. They were very nice about the whole ordeal. I ordered a large bay window and a smaller window. The small window was perfectly installed and finished. The bay window looked amazing...on the EXTERIOR of the house. When the crew was ready to leave I asked when the interior trim would be finished. I was told that was my responsibility! WHAT? I paid over $5,000.00 for that bay window! Seriously? Well, it's been several months (this was done before the storm that damaged so much of Asheville, NC). I called several times and finally got them to send someone back out to finish the interior trim (because I threatened to report them to the BBB). The workman who did the job, VERNON PARKER, was TERRIFIC! He said it is company "policy" that the installers themselves determine if they will do the interior trim. He disagreed with said policy! Putting up wood or PVC trim would have been a nightmare. Instead, this guy planned and designed metal trim and molded it to my bay window. It looks FANTASTIC and blends perfectly with the existing window trim. I cannot even see any seams, it is flawless! So, in the end, they did a great job, but it took me months, and aggravation, to accomplish. BE FOREWARNED!“

This last project was out most extensive and our best experience (removal or load bearing and non-load bearing walls, carpentry/trim work, interior door installation, floor refinishing, wall repair, electrical). “Marcus Sebastian Renovations just concluded our master bathroom/closet remodel. Just to add some context---- In my adult lifetime I've built 5 houses from the ground up and have dealt with a lot of contractors. You will not find a more professional, honest, and skilled contractor/team than this company.

From the initial design by Marcus, to the picking out the color scheme and materials with Carolina and Marcus, to the construction manager/foreman Dmitriy ( more on him later), Artem who did much of the demolition and installation, and to the subcontractors they had build and install the awesome closet cabinets----I cannot say enough nice things about this team especially Dmitriy. I've never worked with such a professional and downright pleasant project manager who by the way is extremely competent and knowledgeable. He always kept me informed about the project, timing, and was always available for any questions and concerns. Everything was professional , well laid out and explained, on schedule, and right on budget.

Whenever you are looking for a renovation project contractor no matter how big or small the job there is always some risk as to who you choose. I can confidently say that from all my experience there is no risk with Marcus Sebastian renovations. If you are considering a renovation project to your home and going to spend your hard earned dollars you should at the very least contact this group for an estimate or better yet just go with them and save yourself a lot of hassle. When reconstruction was able to begin ATI's project manager, Jim, handled everything and made sure to keep me in the loop every step of the way. ATI's PM, Jim, came by the house at least 3 times a week to make sure everything was going well on schedule and that I was happy and satisfied with the job.
